  DID ANY OF YOU actually bring anybody into "the truth" from scratch?

  in all my years of jwing, i never actually brought anyone up to the stage of baptism.. i had bible studies occasionally, but they usually fizzled out after a while.

  i can't think.

  of more than a small handful of witnesses that ever actually got a study from door-to-door.

  Back in 1956 there was a knock on the door. My Mom started a study, baptized in summer of 57 and my dad baptized at the big 1958 convention. I was 7 years old.

  On Saturday... I decided to dump all my literature

  it felt good!

  i took that huge plastic bin that contained multiple copies of all the books given out by the society, all the old wt and awake's that i had, the year books, etc..... and threw into the city dump.

  my boyfriend thought i should maybe bring the literature back to them and i said "hell no.... so they can give it out to more innocent people.. he agreed.

  all the debate about brothers burying 7 or 8 billion bodies is rubbish.. you are all jus totaly daffy.

  the ezekiel book "the nations shall know that i am jehoobie" (1972).

  says that the bodies shall lie like fertilizer.

  not me personally, but my brother-in-law was to give a talk and wasn't completely prepared.

  his talk wasn't long enough.. the elder took him to the back room and belittled him to the point where he cried.

  i guess this is what they mean by.

  I was fading away. I was fading because of the gossip and lies against me. I was home and there was a knock on the door. I always look through the peep hole to see who is there. My mom who was visiting me at the time open up the door and let the PO and some guy in his late 20s in to my living room. They were making a shepherding call saying I have to go back to the meetings ETC. Then this young guy started to be very cold and direct with me asking me when was the last time I went to the KH. You have to go to the meetings! Just then my mom broke down in tears saying my son never done anything wrong they lied ETC. I was pissed I told them to leave, your upsetting my mom. That was over 10 years ago they never came back!

  a question on a recent application that my husband filled out for a state job, substance of question was: 'are you now a member of or have any affiliation with any organization or association that inhibits you or prevents others from the practice of their constitutional rights?

  ' while jw membership is essentially voluntary, when you think about it, in what ways do their rules impede the constitutional and civil rights of its members?.

  their anti-gun/anti-every-form-of-self-defense policy is one.

  The right to bear arms. (welcome to the USA) The right to vote. The right to proper health care including life saving blood trans. The right to have an operation close to home with out going across the country to some bloodless surgery center. The right to have a car with 2 doors. (Jeep)
