You have a serious leap in logic here.

If it has been proven that God does not back this organization (and it has) nor does God approve of the people who are responsible for the dissemination of their beliefs, then the only one left is Satan. You are either for God or against God.

I could just as easily say purple unicorns are responsible for the Watchtower. You have given no evidence that the Watchtower is Satan's organization. I'm not necessarily saying he isnt but I was only pointing out that you sound really certain and gave many details about his involvement.

It comes across as irrational. It would help our anti-watchtower cause if critics sounded more rational than the ones being criticized.

I dont know if I just dont like the name Jehovah but the JWs have taken it in vain so much that it is trash to me now. I really dont like the Jehovah of Armies or Jehovah God thing. Glad you liked my comedy.

Jesus' Relationship to God

the following was revealed to me from god, through constant prayer asking for an understanding of jesus' relationship to god.. .

using what i currently understand about philosophy, science and religion, where philosophy is an attempt to understand logic, science is an attempt to understand nature, and religion is an attempt to understand divinity.

Jesus Christ - The man who was raised from the dead

this is the fourth thread in a recent series of posts on the fact that jesus christ is still a man.. the watchtower claims that "the man" jesus christ did not raise from the dead, but remained forever dead (they teach that he was recreated as an angel).

the bible however shows that it was a "man" whom god hath raised from the dead.

"because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

i surely don't have all the facts, but i do know this much: a man in his twenties felt that his interpretation of a 2,000 year-old book was directly sent from god above.

By the time they reach the top they have become incredibly deceptive and stubborn. They know that the teachings are not biblical and either think the bible needs "help" or are so jealous and hateful towards Christendom that God will somehow overlook their intentional deceptions, reject Christendom because everyone in it is wicked and pick the righteous JWs anyway.

They had to work hard to get to the top and being in control and having a cushy lifestyle makes it easy to reationalize even if their rationalization is completely irrational.

I would guess about half of them think that God is willing to change for their own self-righteousness and because of how well they have made their followers behave. So I guess they are a little insane. I didnt think they were but now after writing this I would have to say they are.

How to take down the WTS. Maybe for good.

i just heard the most brilliant plan ever.

we draft an all purpose legal document to send to the wts stating that "i,__________ do not want any jw's ever coming to my door, please put me on the do not call list and send this to the congregation nearest me, if they do, i will construe this as harrasment and act accordingly" .

then we pass these out, do a mass mailing, give them to all of our friends, encourage people to make copies and give them to their friends, call it the sleep in on saturday document.

The JWs already have a do not call list, they respect it for 6 months with apartments and up to 10 with houses in case people move. An individual do not call would have to be updated regularly.

Have they changed their views about transexuals??

there is a pioneer in a nearby congregation, that my jw friend told me about recently.

this person is a woman, but used to be a man.

everyone has accepted her, and they all talk about what a good example, and what a wonderful pioneer she is.

Hermaphrodites would have trouble in the WTS fo sho. Genetically they are men. They have faces like women, bodies like boys, functional male apparati, and vaginas without uteri.

I guess they would be required to be men but of course they would come across more like Prince and they wouldnt be allowed to use their vaginas. Plus they tend to be sterile (testicles where the ovaries go and thus they are overheated) , although technically it would be possible for them to father children with todays technology.

Not many hermaphrodites out there. I have heard that doctors tend to recommend corrective surgery as children which renders them as infertile females.
