Which was scarier... the torture scenario or the Armageddon scenario?

for those of us who grew up in the jw's, there were a couple of scary scenarios presented, one supposedly to happen before armageddon, and armageddon itself.. before armageddon, all jw's were going to be chased around by worldly nations because they would be the only religion left on earth, satan's system having destroyed "babylon the great" (all religions outside jw's, we were told).

so as part of that, jw's would be persecuted worldwide for being religious and proclaiming the "kingdom".. now -- connect that with the actual persecution that happened to the jw's as documented in the annual "yearbook" and in the pages of the watchtower magazine.

sometimes the details of what happened to jw's when in confinement were quite graphic and frightening.

I never believed much of what the WTS said on the subject other than you had to be a JW to not get killed at armageddon.

Actually I feel satisfied knowing where they live. I have done things like this before where people have flipped me off and I didnt even do anything. So I got into my car and followed them to their house and then got out and let them know hey "Whats the matter with you?" and never heard from them again.

I wouldnt really have to do anything I dont think because kids are not so brave when they have nowhere to run. I suppose seeing their fear and then giving one of them a back of the hand to the face followed by a "Whats the matter with you?" would do it.

And elsewhere, I wasnt revving my engine so much as just driving by so they could maybe hear I was out there. Its about all I could do though other than vandalize their car because I had no way of knowing which house was their's.

Of course I realize if I were more mature I wouldnt have let it bother me but if anyone is going to be a huge dick on my street its going to be me not some punk from another block.

About 4 days ago I am leaving my driveway to go to the gym. Its about 11:30 PM. I have a long driveway that two other houses share. I live on a narrow rundown dark street (its kind of ghetto). So I come to the end of the driveway and I see lights coming from the right. This big SUV comes by at about 40 and honks at me. posted limit is 25 and even that is alot for the street.

Im like "WTF." This asshole is driving like a maniac, disrespecting my neighboorhood and then honks at me, further disrespecting the hood. So I realize quite quick that he isnt from there. I am going his way. So at the stop sign a couple hundreds yards down he pauses before pulling out into traffice when it is relatively clear. So I honked at him. At the top of the hill I pull out to the right to get on the freeway and I am looking over into the SUV. Its like 4 or 5 punk kids about 17, they have the loser look. Theyre all giving me looks, the taunting smile shit. So as I pull onto the freeway I see one flip me off.

So this is where I have to make a decision. Do I stop, back up on the on ramp and pursue? No because they could get away anyway and I would look dumb if they do. So I go two exits to the gym and I ask myself when I get to my exit "Do I give a shit? Yeah, I do." So I turn around I head to the next exit. I scan as I drive up the main drag. I dont see them, as I expect not to. I turn left to the other drag. I go to a major shopping center and scan the lot. Its big, but they werent their. I check the food plaza across from there. Not there. I complete the circle of that portion of town.

They were in the left lane so that narrowed down the my possibilities if they lived in the area. I figured that they were probably in my hood to buy drugs and lived close. So that still gave me a good chance of finding them at a house although not that good. I pulled into the first neighborhood. I just stuck to the main street running through it. It was an afluent neighborhood. I went about 6 blocks and came to the end. I decided to check some side streets. I go about 3 blocks. I finally see an SUV that fits the description. I roll by. It had the same tan trim and was an explorer of the same series. I park. I get out and walk up to it. It had been 15 minutes or so since I saw them driving and it was only about a 2.5 mile drive for them. So the engine wouldnt be that hot but probably still warm.

I checked the discs for heat to see if it had been drivin in the last few minutes. They were air temp. I felt under the wheel well for engine radiation. A slight detection of heat. I listen. I hear radiator fluid sounds. Bingo. It had the shitty teenage stickers on it. This was them. I know where they live.

I felt so good finding them. It was midnight so I wasnt going to raise hell in the neighborhood but I drove by a few times slowly but at about 4000 rpms and I have a loud car, if they were watching they would know it was me, my car is recognizable.

I really wanted to find them. I really did. I didnt think I would but wow. Now I know where they live. I cant stand rich little shits that have no respect for anything. Im gonna go back there on my next day off.

I shunned as a JW, but I was a kid and just figured it was the thing to do.

I shun scabs, that is people that cross union lines to take jobs that don't belong to them. I shun cold hearted or sadistic people. I shun people that think social darwinism is gospel truth and to deviate from its divine institution is communism.

what is the latest incarnation of the king of the north in dubland as i had an elder tell me on sunday that the muslim nations were the king now.

i had not heard that before and it seems to me that they are just pulling anybody out of their arse as the king as they become more influential, how many times are they going to get it wrong before people wake up to it?

Six of 9, Princess-

The Return of the King is the most action packed movie of all time. The first two dont even compare. You just watch for first two to get setup for the most unbelievable film since Star Wars. I spent the whole day watching Fellowship in its 4 hour extended format and Towers. And I am going to the theater tommorrow to see King again for the second time. King was so good that I just still cant believe it.

After watching the first two today I have changed my mind and think the first one was the better of the two. In particular when Arwen (Liv Tyler) is fleeing from the Ring Wraiths on Horseback with Frodo. Those shots were some of the best footage I think in film history.

I dont consider flirting online to be cybersex anymore than flirting in person is sex. People that are into cybersex are missing out on much better versions.
