  god only knows how many he took through the years?

  his book is intitled: "the apocylpse is not delayed because of my stupidity".

  here is some news from a source within one of the wts branches:

  hot news from todays morning worship announcement worldwide -- letter from gb being read on 1st of march 2006 to every branch (hopefully we will have a copy of the letter soon.).

  as of aug. 31, 2006 the bethel elder arrangement will be dissolved!

  finally have the time to type more than a sentance.... .

  my name is, mike warren... that's my real age in my profile...& yes that's my real pic.

  though i was never baptized, i was raised in the silly religion... my parents started their study in early 1974 (at least i got 1birthday &1 christmas, not that i remember...) mom was baptized in less than a year after she started her study... it took my father about 7-8 more years to give up smoking, but he still made all the meetings & ruled with a leather belt.. i also have a younger sister that has faded (she got baptized).

  as a non jw (thank god) my journey of insight into the abyss of deceit, darkness, and mind control known as the watch tower is oh so short.

  maybe 6 weeks at best.

  my quest to gain the knowledge to help my df'd young friend dee see the truth is at worse, well... overwhelming.

  Hi, welcome to the board. Plenty of people post here who have never been JW.

  Entering another church for a wedding, etc. is a consciense matter. Some will, most won't. It is discouraged. I don't know where the custom came from. JWs like to keep themselves "separate" from the world.

  i have come to realize that for the last two years i have put my life on hold, i have not been living i have just been floating just existing but not living, not really living.

  i can't believe this!!

  i have a 7 1/2 month german shepherd puppy that apparently just went into heat.

  kinda early for a dog her size, but the vet told me they won't perform spays on bitches in heat, so, get ready, i should put her on the pill!

  Well, no, I never have. But, I've heard of it being done for dog shows. Wouldn't want the dog to come into heat right in the middle of a dog show!

  i am a none jw and never have been, although most of my family are.

  the lifestyle i lead has caused me to become a "black sheep" and i am limited to a couple of phone-calls a year, which suits me just fine.

  hi everyone, been reading here for a long time and have to say how much i enjoy all of your stories, insight and opinions.

  this is my first time posting but i remembered something today that i thought was worth sharing.

  when i was a teenager and going to the hall (i successfully faded about seventeen years ago), there was a family who would come to the hall in all their sunday finery (better clothes than we can afford), drove up in their nice luxury vehicle etc.
