  at other anti-jw information sites?.

  examples: "dear, i heard that magazines won't be handed out to the df'ed anymore.".

  I know what you're talking about. I don't even talk about JW stuff with my wife because, frankly, my blood pressure starts to spike. I feel like I am being conned every time some one tells me how wonderful the Org. is. The last few conversations with my wife have not gone well due to my inabily to keep my mouht shut, so now i avoid all discussions all together, ar at least try to.

  The other night we were out with friends and something was mentioned about the SOCIETY, etc.... All I could do was not join in the conversation. I may have well been on Mars, every one around me was whacky, trapped in the JW world of constantly shifting illusion.

  Good luck to you. I am not so sure my marriage can survive my evil knowledge.

  notice that on every page, the buick logo appears.. .

  the buick logo, however, is not accompanied by any trademarks or reserved rights, and the site itself doesn't mention anywhere that they have permission to use the logo for their own purposes.. .

  it's official; they read the letter tonight that puts forth the new procedure.

  if you find an expelled person in the field or are studying with one, you are no longer permitted to give them lit.

  presumably the elders make a decision if an expelled one is regularly attending meetings, but only they can give them lit.

  The WTS is going through the process of the regimes before it which eventually died of their own wieght and inertia. These people eat their young.

  ok, crumpets post on the lid of life thread got me thinking.

  when i was a kid and got a cut on my finger my mother would always tell me to suck it.

  which meant i was sucking my own blood, which meant i was eating blood, which meant i was defiling god.

  The good news is, hell is terrific...bingo, good food, great views, non-judgmental people. And the best of all....No JW's. How could that be all bad?

  i have received word that we are now 'very, very close'.

  at the sunday meeting, according to my trusted source, the speaker actually said that 'it is no longer years, nor months - yet weeks and days'.

  so they need you back, now!

  in other news, the jc is over.

  because of this we have an elder that lied to us and to my wife parents.

  As for the JC, many of us knew it was a done deal. The JC is about POWER. They want to let you know they have it and you don't. The only sheep the WTS is interested in is the lamb chops they're treated to at Ruth's Chris.

  I do hope your family sees that this religion is not about God or Christ or the Kingdom or righteousnes or love or ANYTHING other then perpetuating their printing business.

  The Bible Says that Jesus is God - Definately

  i am not a bible believer.

  i have a question for those of you who are bible believers.

  if you believe that jesus is not god, how do you justify the following:.

  I believe Jesus is God. I DO NOT believe he is the Almighty God, the Father, the Creator of all things.

  Jesus is God, I believe, in the sense that the Creator vested everything in the Son save for that which he could not vest--- his own and unique person.

  But everything else did come into existence through, for, and by Jesus--- at least according to Scripture. So the Almighty creates the Son, who then creates everything else. And since he created/made us, he also loved us and came and died for us--- not because God necessarily wanted him to, but because the Son wanted to. I think it was the plan from the beginning, but that's a different matter for another day.

  Anyway, I have only recently started to think about such things since my only paradigm from infancy was the JW one. That said, I do not think the Jews or the early believers in Christianity beleived that the Father and the Son were the same person, though they may have beleived they were of the same nature. According to Scripture, however, humans owe their creation to Jesus and their redemption to Jesus. I can see how many might think of him as God.

  Run in with cousin over the letter I sent the family

  as many of you are aware, i've been writing letters to many in my family telling them where i disagree with the wt; imagine how surprised i was when my cousin invited me to his kid's graduation knowing that there were sure to be many witnesses there who i assumed whoud be in the mood for confrontation.

  of course i went, as i'm trying a new policy of not backing down from the witnesses; using reverse psycology to try and get them ashamed of being witnesses instead of them trying to make me feel bad about my disssent.

  after the graduation, my older cousin, who's much like a real brother to me said that we needed to talk.

  Good for you. There is liberation in taking your life into your own hands and steering your own course.

  I recently said to a friend of mine (although the conversation was not anti-WTS, just anti- my not being at the meetings) that God was going to judge me on what I did on my own and not in relation to anyone else, right?

  His answer: That's right. He is going to judge you and you alone both for what you do (drum roll because he thought he had me) and what you don't do (meetings, feild service)

  So I told Him that as long as God was the one who was going to judge me on what I did or didn't do, then I was going to decide for MYSELF what to do or not do. If I had to pay the price or recieve the reward ON MY OWN, why would I listen to anyone else?

  Keep up the good fight, bro.
