i have the one with the light on, so when you move it by hand the light comes on.

OK now, I'm really an apostate
by dawg inso, i go to my jw uncle's funeral for obvious reasons!
after the funeral my family invites me to dinner, something we haven't done for some time (probably 8 years or so) as i'm considered disassociated not disfellowshipped.
i guess this is allowed per the new jw policy but since that crap changes from time to time i'm not sure.

Making enough money to attend the convention
by free2beme inmy uncle, was a witness for awhile with my aunt.
they had a small business of running some hot dog stands in their town in idaho.
they made pretty good money at it and because they were mobile, location was often where people would let you.

by avidbiblereader into me there is a definite difference in my generation and the one coming after me, when i graduated you basically had three choices.
military, college or a fulltime job which meant more than 40 and you were expected to grow up, today kids are seen as postponing this for years, it reminds me of the proverbs 29:21 kjv says .
21 he that delicately bringeth up his servant from a child shall have him become his son at the length.. when is it time to push the little birds from the nest and tell them to flap real hard?.

I'd say I'm in agreement with Ms.Crumpet. In retrospect, to me, the smiles, and the 'happiness' they attempt to exude is bogus. IMO many would love to leave, but, as they've said to me. "Where else are we going to go?" Assemblies, and going out to dinner thereafter means alot to some people.
