  i just returned home from the hospital.

  my sister in law had a mis- carriage today.

  it was a very sad day for her and my wifes family.

  Can Anyone Actually Live By JW Rules/Suggestions?

  i seriously doubt that anyone could actually live strictly by the jw rules and "suggestions" give by the society and the congregation.

  like the catholic church, there are now so many rules you cannot follow them all.

  unlike the catholic church, the dubs to not allow you to use your head and deviate when you want.. i remember my first wife struggling to live by dub rules.

  Your ideas about a disaster at WTS headquarters

  for the last few days i've been involved in putting a post together for this board that has been growing and growing because one idea led to another, etc.

  (i really got to stop drinking so much caffeine) anyway i'm at a point where i would appreciate some feedback.. the sept 11 terrorist attack got me thinking about what would happen if there was a major physical disaster at either ny headquarters or bethel.

  i'm talking about say a horrific accident or terrorist act that leaves many witnesses dead and injured.

  think there are some really angry and disturbed JW's, even some ex-dubs who come out and are as mad as hell. That sounds like a bigger possibility to me.

  People have already bombed Kingdom Halls and burned them down.

  And: I have noticed that the WT propaganda machine is running full time, therefore sucking up more weary and tired souls (I still have family in the "Truth").

  The course the WT is going, is really gonna piss off more and more people. They really have me super pissed-off. But,, rest assured, I'm not the kind of guy that goes around bombing or anything like that.

  I have seen though that some are not like that, so that the possibilty of an incident taking place at the WT headquarters and branch offices is definitely increasing.

  You have the power to create nations. You have the power to destroy nations. Never underestimate the power of you. Andy

  a national human rights organization is taking jehovah's witnesses to task for claiming to support human rights while denying them to members.. approaches to education, inc., a arizona based human rights group, went public this week about its concerns that the jehovah's witness religion claims to support the un declaration of human rights while at the same time that it denies those rights to its members.

  while jehovah's witnesses claim to be crusaders for freedom of religion and human rights, and in favor of religious tolerance, this is not what they practice within the group, states john b. brown, the executive director of approaches to education, inc, individual members of the jehovahs witnesses are not allowed to question their religious beliefs, because this questioning may elicit a punitive response by the religions leaders.

  i was a regular christian before a jehovah's witness person came knocking on my door.

  i did not know what a jehovah's witness was when i met her.. she's a very nice person, and brings her 14 year old daughter everytime.

  she says i should not watch tv, and should not listen to music, and should not play video games, because they will corrupt me, because they are what devil has created.. my friend told me that they are extremests and he is very worried about me being in contact with jehovah witness people (as you can see, i'm not too sure of how to address them either).

  Just ask her if she knows anything about the relationship that the WT has with the UN. The witnesses aren't supposed to talk about it. If they do they can be reprimanded. So keep asking and they'll go away.

  this is the instant message conversation i had with my sister in law on friday.

  it makes me so sad because i think that she in her heart recognizes the truth of what i am saying, but then the jw brainswashing takes over and she just stops thinking.. sorry it's so long!!.
