Sympahty for Circuit and District Overeer's Poor Wives

i would like this thread to express sympathy for these poor women, that because of being duped by a typical "end of the world cult", have given up a stable enviroment, suffer god know what as they endure listening to the same booring talk for 6 months, away from friends and family, no home to decorate, under constant scrutiny from the other sisters, etc.... i wouldn't like this thread to degenerate into what bad things these poor victims of an "end of the world cult" have done, but more toward sympathy, to help especially the younger ones who may be reading jwd, and need the courage to do something to get out of this predicament, before they waste thier whole life away slaving for the ungratefull wt organization.. they could use some help here and understanding as well.

I have to say that "choice" of sexual orientation in the psycho literature is different from what the WTS says is choice.
They imply that a wicked impudent disobedient child sits down one day and asks "what do i want to do with my genitals when I am all growed up??"
GARBAGE.
Sexual feelings are discovered. No straight man was ever asked "when did you realise you were straight?"
No straight guy has ever asked himself at onset of puberty - "am I gay?"
I was raped by my male babysitter at the age of four, but I have never been tempted to repeat the sex act with another male and I am now 45. According to the "corruption theory" I should be a total manslut....

Changes in the DANIEL'S PROPHECY book
by observador ini have been told that a number of changes has been made to the daniel's prophecy book between the first edition (or printing) and the latest edition of it.
the funny thing is that these changes are inconsistent among the media (paper book and editions of the wt lib cd).. so, if you get the daniel's prophecy book you have in your home and compare it to wt lib cd 2004, you will only be able to confirm some of these changes.

Remember that they are printing millions of these books.
apart from 1000 yr changed to 100 yr most of the changes involve removing a word or some inverted commas. But think how many hundreds of thousand of gallons of ink will be saved, just by such a tiny change.
Similarly, the book dimensions are now a few millimeters smaller, more books for the same money.
Most of the Witless cannot see the subtle difference in these changes anyway for it to even matter.

Another way of looking at it is that water exists as vapour, liquid and a solid. Same substance, three different forms.
Makes you wonder that if those taught by the apostles couldn't explain what it all meant why a murderer of his relatives like Constantine would be chosen by God to decide on the explanation.
I got so sick of the homousos v homousios debates as a JW. But at the end of the day his own children killed and massacred and slaughtered in his name and lied and twisted things that didn't suit them.
It only amazes me that God allows something so crucial to salvation to be so partisanised.

Whats the deal with fading.
by mtbatoon ini'm not trolling here or trying to upset, i'm not attacking anyone personally or trying to force my opinion on others but having read a lot of people experiences on leaving the org i really can not understand the point of fading.
i understand that people risk losing contact with family members and friends but really what type of friend and how good a family member are they if they are willing to shun you for not holding the same beliefs?.
a bit of background might be in order here.

As far as I can see, the teaching of the trinity is an attempt to explain how an incomprehensible being reveals himself to us by playing three different roles.For instance, a man may be married with children.
With his elderly parents, he is a supportive helpful son.

Each time there is a change in teaching, they never say "this is what WE used to teach, but now -- :"
They just give a talk or article with the change, knowing that the majority can't even remember the public talk ten minutes later most weeks. The rest are too lazy or stupid to want to check any thing.
After all, "The time of the end" started in 1799.
