The JW,s lie when they say there was only two birthday celebrations in the bible.
Jesus's birth was the most celebrated birth ever. Which leads to why not celebrate christmas?

Jesus as a Mediator
by I-follow-the-narrow-path ini know that jesus is a mediator... it is written in the bible.
i have never heard the jws tell me that he wasn't.
it is written in my bible (in the jw bible), so if they do deny that jesus is a mediator-- .

1 Timothy is also part of the new covenant part of the bible. The JW,s teach that this part of the bible was written specifically to the 144,000.
You see, you weren't supposed to be reading that anyway.

New Study: People With Hard Lives Are More Gullible. Applies to JW's?
by under_believer ina new study (available here) run at the university of leicester seems to indicate that people who have lived hard lives, been knocked around, or otherwise had things go south on them are more likely to be gullible and easily misled or even brainwashed.
you should read the entire article, because it's full of things i can identify with as a jw.
so what kind of people are typically affected?

Made me think of this scripture 2 Tim 3 : 5,6,7
having a form of Godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them
They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over weak - willed women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth.

Will JW's elders Disfellowship or Disassociate or Reprove a JW for flag-sal
by booker-t ini attend a group activity every week and there is a young jw's woman that attends there with me and everytime we stand up to salute the flag she refuses to stand or say the pledge of allegence.
she told me that if she did the elders would df'd her for idolatry.
i have never heard of jw's getting kicked out for saluting the flag.

I was announced for having a flag flying.
What does announced mean?I asked A JW if it's OK to fly a flag. at first he said no, but then I reasoned with him that the problem wtbs has with flags is saluting aka worshipping them not flying them he didn't know what to say and I never did find out.
This was shortly after the terrorist attacks in the usa after them everyone was flying flags. I also reasoned hypothetically that what if a mob became angry with him because he was unpatriotic for not flying a flag,
and he had to make a choice of what to do, suppose it was a life or death situation. He said he would have to write bethel for the answer.
That was the end of that conversation.

Getting df'd for telling others about the WTS and the UN fiasco
by proandcon innot too long ago in a local congregation in massachusetts, two people were df'd for telling others about the wts involvement with the un...anyone else hear of this happenning in your area?
i guess teling othere the truth about the wts is not allowed either.
the lack of honesty and humility in this group never ceases to amaze me.

Now those people will get shunned and then executed at Armageddon for telling the truth, lol, what a ridiculous god their jehovah is.
What burns my ass is that they pass these judgements yet feel no responsibility that they have sentenced someone to death and labeled them as evil not even deserving resurection. Not to mention the shunning.
Don't they fear God in doing these things in his name?

Death unnatural in humans...another Watchtower lie!
by Gill inthe wtbts teaches that death in human beings is unnatural and was brought about by adam eating the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and bad.. they claim that one of the proofs that death is not natural in humans is the reaction of humans when one of their number dies....terrible grief.
they claim that animals do not care if one of their number dies.
they give the example of sheep in a field who couldn't give two hoots if a fellow sheep dropped dead.. however, the mate of a neighbours dog died a few weeks ago.

On the Discovery Channel for the first time they captured Hippos on video mourning the death of a calf.
They layed down in a circle around the calf for about 2 hours protecting it and showing grief. Then they slowly got up and left and the crocs I think they were crocs had a nice supper.
