  g'day all of yas !.

  im wondering if there are any jw here that may be married where they are not disclosing their activities on this forum to their parters.. im wondering if you have added this site to your favorites and changed the name / title of it( if you are like me ), out of fear that your partner or a visiting dub may be nosing through your computer and see jw.com written.. what have you changed the title to ??

  just a thought i had earlier tday, jesus had a ministry lasted about 3 years yeh.

  well i wonder why he didnt live out the normal 60 year life cycle.

  all inconsistent cognitions are dealt with by violence.

  in a cult, inconsistent cognitions are dealt with by shunning, by starving, by confinement, etc.... .

  a falacy ?

  i was showering this arvo and thought of something i would like the groups opinion on.. the org likes throwing the word apostate around because it effectively ellicits a predetermined response that may be advantageous for the point they are making at the time.. now by their definition or generic garden variety jw personel definition, it is a peson that believed and had the doctronal truth then has abandoned it for some other belief.

  if that is our accepted working definition to their frame of reference.

  then when their beliefs ( invariably only the big'ens ) change or get adjusted, how then is this not a move to apostacy.

  Question to w'ever went to this weeks service metn

  i heard something interesting from the platform at tonights servo meeting, it was the 2 nd section on witnessing.

  a question to any that may have been to theirs, our brother was going on about how some say millions in say india and china etc will never get the preaching message etc etc we have all heard that before, but then asked us to turn to mat 24 : 14. an elderly sister read it, in a tone that denoted that she had read it 1 million times before, then the brother said that the greek word for preaching used there actually means to herald.

  hmm, to herald huh....ok, then he used that premise to say, that who knows how jah will herald the good news to all these people, as if to say that all it would take for a witness to be made to them would be a voice from heaven ( or t.v ad or program ) saying my son died for you so worship me etc.. now my question is, did anyone else hear this at their meeting ??

  last week @ the hall...

  ....so the meeting finishes and im ready to bolt to the new middle eastern resteraunt just opened around the corner, and this brother comes up to me, funny actually he rarely speaks to me.... it was after the last weeks watchtower study ( those there will relate to this ).....he comes and starts talking about the study, and how jehovah when he destroy's .999 times 6 x 10 9 of earthlings he will be within his wright because " they cant say they werent told and didnt have enough time to do something about it ".

  ..well bugger me, good afternoon to you to brother *cockburn...hungry ??.

  anyhow this blokes gone on and on about how fair this last destruction will be.
