i know things would have been different if i had not been raised as a dub.

since i left the borg, i've been making up for lost time, but still did not fully become what i wanted to be.

i wanted to be an artist... i do some artwork, but it's only a small part of what i do for a living.. how about you?

TESTING the results of two different ways of thinking

mankind has had a pretty good track record of tackling the problems of life on earth.

different folks have tried different strokes.

you might say that life has been the crucible for testing an idea as to efficacy and the legacy of any idea is how well it worked.. .

I have some questions, so that I can determine where your boundaries of metaphorical perception lay. I will use the answers to formulate a few scenarios for your amusement.

(1) Does the color blue exist? If so, in what way? What is "blue?"

(2) Does light exist? If so, in what way? What is "light?"

(3) Does love exist? If so, in what way? What is "love?"

(4) Do emotions exist? If so, in what way? What are "emotions?"

(5) Is the color blue real?

(6) Is light real?

(7) Is love real?

(8) Are emotions real?

From the weight of your posts here, I do not believe you have ever traveled very far in thinking these kind of things out. It seems you would rather quickly toss them aside in favor of things you can touch. I will be looking forward to what I hope will be a thorough and considered reply. You might try using a word processor to edit it, then copy and paste it after you are sure it's right so you don't have those gaps between paragraphs.

the meaning of daniel 4:10-17 is found in daniel 4:20-27. i am going to place the interpretation daniel gives for each element beside the interpretation given by the christian congregation of jehovah's witnesses.. i invite any witness to explain why the interpetation given in the bible is open to re-interpretation of a later fulfillment that does not correspond, on a single element, with the orginal interpretation.. .

The irony is not lost on me that they did not pay attention to Daniel's prophecy, but instead invented their own.

Leolaia, I had thought of that but didn't know quite how to word it. Thank you for that additional point. Shakita, thank you for the thoughts on the whacked out numerology and arbitrary application of unrelated prophecies to this one.
