  What does a JW have to do, to be SURE he will be saved at Armageddon?

  don't leave out anything.. and maybe you can add things he musn't do either..

  What are JW's going to do with their "outdated" Rev book and Dan proph book

  i was just wondering what is going to happen when the leaders at wt headquaters see that the revelation grand climax book and the pay attention to daniel's prophecies book all prove false.

  are they going to rewrite both books and call it "new light" and somehow say that they were wrong about the beast of revelation being the un and now the un will be considered holy?

  are jw's going to have to praise the un as from jehovah and jesus?

  my "fleshly "brother {hahahahah}said he was looking at the revalation book the other day.He said"how could mom and dad make us study that shit".It is a strange and twisted publication.How can anyone look at it without thinking the GB are a bunch of wacko's!!!!!!!!!

  full blown hypocrisy amongst "christian youths"

  i find it funny and sad that children who were raised in the cult resort to full blown double lives,believing that if they go to meetings all will be fine at the big a.. my little sister who is 20,was just heard on the phone the other day by my brother saying some funny stuff.. heres the skinny.my sis has apparently "hooked up " with a "worldly boy".now apparently the kid wont leave her alone.this is what she said to another fine,upstanding christian sister on the phone"i wish i never hooked up with him,i mean ,i had my fun,but now he's annoying me.

  {pause}ok,i'll see you at the meeting".. i find it funny because she just told me last week how strongly she feels about jehovah and the borg,but she still wanted to have a relationship with me.i told her " how do you think it makes me feel knowing you believe i will be dead in the fast approaching war of armegeddon "{i thought fornicators and unclean acts and people mixing and becoming unevenly yoked would die to}.apparently not as long as you go to meetings!!.

  i pity her,cognitive dissedence,ain't it a bitch.. just thought i'd share.stp.

  true that,kwin,thanks for the reply.I am glad she's not being controlled,maybe I'm just jealous that I left because I wasn't "living up to my name" as a witness and got out.I sacfificed,she's just a phony in my opinion.

  i should give some background before the question(s) for you all..... my older brother was born and raised a witness.

  left with the rest of us when my mom dad herself although he was the one asking whether or not it was wise---after all the end might come.

  he was brought up with the whole women being inferior thing....or in the least there being whores and mothers and nothing else.

  Personal Hardships and Personal Responsibility

  hey there.....i was thinking about this after reading through a few earlier threads discussing about the hurricane (this is not a thread about that by the way) which lead to people bring up personal hardships.

  etc.. i too have had my share, but there is always some one that has had a rougher time than i have.

  as a jw, i found that many of the hardships that occured to me as an adult was sometimes the result of poor decisions that i had made...but didn't realize that until after having a breakdown, and getting out of the kh (please note: i don't blame the breakdown on being a jw...just so you know).

  I have often been deppressed and whatnot.

  Heres my personal beef,though.I believe in my heart alot of problems I have experienced up til about a year ago was due to my families blindly following the WT.The problem is though,they want to have a "normal " relationship with me,but refuse to admit much of it affected me.They say ,"your not in it anymore,you made your choice,now quit acting like thats why you have problems."

  I guess what i'm getting at is that some problems are self induced,some aren't.When people are responsible for screwing you over,they should own up,and I own up when I create situations that cause me trouble.

  I think this also stems from the thread soonyboy started.People had days to get out of NO,but chose not to.Why should they not take personal responsibility.Again,I'm sure there where some extenuating circumstances for some,but some chose not to leave.
