i was in a deposition today and one of the parties told us about her friend who was a heavy user of soft drinks.

for years she drank around five to seven a day.

she had been having bone pain and went to the doctor and was told "your bones have the consistency of lace.

I was born it, so.... I started fading aroudn 13/14, stopped attending things @ end of 14, except for the occasional s*&$, and completely and utterly out at 17.

i am completely surprised by the amount of posts over the last couple of weeks of people (lurkers) signing up to the board and introducing themselves.

most still part of the jw cult, but thinking for themselves and wanting real answers.

i?m still a newbie to the board so i would like to know if this is common.

I seem to be stuck at steps 7&8, if I understand you correctly. Bad habits need to change eh.

Its a prophetic sign that the end of the WT is near. All we can do is hope and pray.

How about the other uses for Coke? Someone already mentioned how meat dissolves in Coke...Did you ever do the experiment with a nail? Coke will eat right through it. Its uses as a cleaner are remarkable. Pour a little over your car battery terminals to get rid of the acid build up. Pour some on your garage floor, scrub a little, and then mop it up. Does wonders. I'll drink a 12oz soda maybe once a week. My main drinks are: water, [iced]tea made with Celestial Seasonings - not Lipton, wine, beer, and homemade mojitos.

Phosphoric acid rapidly cleans things up. I know that some cops who attend highway accidents use coke to clean up the blood and guts left behind (at least that's what my old sci. prof. said).

I doubt they would come out with a paperback bible, if money is tight, why don't they just cut back production?

Should be as it is in France, kids start drinking wine mixed with water at age 6. I don't think that would work here though, too many idiots.

if there any single factor that i would rate as the highest priority in raising a child, it is this:.

teach them to be caring, loving adults who care about other people.. we've already noted, ad nauseum, how witnesses are largely impelled by motives other than love in their "ministry".

"pioneer stroll" and fantasies about who's-house-you-want-after-armageddon, there is a further problem in raising witness kids.

Thanks for posting that, I really enjoyed reading it.

The old men in charge are clueless. They don't know what to do. They don't know what to say. They don't want to think
that they are causing much of this exodus of Witness kids away from the 'truth' - and into trouble.

This is caused by their anti-education bias. They make themselves to be human counsellors, yet they don't know what the f*&^ they are doing.
