Love oral sex and going into the naughty store, I would actually keep my sunglasses on when we would go to buy bedroom toys, it was okay cuz I was married to the PO and he said it was okay and I always listened to the eldoors-----------------always wore mini skirts when we would go away , we love being naughty.................I always felt bad though teaching my study that according to the Tower, oral sex was wrong-----------------------------how can something that feels so damn good be wrong? Oh yeah, single dirty old men in New York make up those rules-----------------well we refuse to let them into our bedroom..........

Things you shouldn't have liked as a Witness.......BUT DID!!!
by ScoobySnax inwhen you were a jw can you remember things you should've not liked but did?
i was listening to some dowloads tonight and heard "happy birthday" by stevie wonder, i remember going to a big family party when i was a kid, and my uncle who had some dj decks put this one on for me as it was my birthday (none of my dads side of the family were jw) i loved it.......good memories still of this song.. i remember getting easter eggs too, and thinking however pagan they were, they tasted bloody delicious.
better than "ordinary" chocolate bars.

Do Jehovah's Witnesses Have The Reputation THEY Think They Have?
by minimus inwitnesses believe they are special.
the publications give many examples of how wonderful a witness was viewed upon by a "worldly" person.
kms tell of how so many praise the witnesses for being so "different".....what would you say is the real way people view jws??

The only reputation they have in the minds of outsiders is: "THEY ARE A CULT" I personally would refute this, but now I know they are a cult that do not give to charity or help others in times of disaster. I have seen God working with so many loving and helping organizations than what is told to us by the TOWER. The JW are a very selfish cult and their god is money and power..........so sad..............

Who left the JW's after getting on the internet?
by toladest invitta's thread above got me wondering.
how many here still believed the "witnesses" to have the truth until they came to sites like this?
how many actually came here to defend the jw's and ended up leaving?

We haven't left totally do to our love for our family,---but our hearts left along time ago. I will admitt I would never read apostate literature and was a full beliver that the internet was full of lies............sad isn't it????? Thank God I have a very smart and caring husband who knew things were not right with the Tower and how they handeled abuses cases, he had to deal with one and was appauld at how Brooklyn certainly would cover their a** when it came to legal matters but leave the elders out to get sued.............................then he quietly read COC and would share things with me, and read things on this site and would tell me how many here felt and saw the wrong with the TOWER and how hurt they were by the hypocrisy, all I can say is "no, the internet did not cause me to leave, but it sure has helped to cope with the pain and hurt and know you can express that and others here will not judge you for it.
As of this moment I have not read COC...............maybe on day I will.

In response to the red dot------------------I find Blondie is a teacher and one of the smartest people I personal would love to meet. I know Jesus is THE GREAT TEACHER, but Blondie is great herself. I thank her for all her hard work and want her to know all of us here learn so much more from the study she does than any eldoor. I have a foregleam of the future, that Blondie will be known by all for her teaching abilty and what a happify day that will be...........love to all........

Thank You teacher, only you help me to see and understand these articles the true way. I love the fact of the quotes by thier own literature you are able to catch them in so many ways.......What about that example in parg. 6 with Melisa-----so good the elder told her not to get involved with that man studying.........................I bet today she is a fat old maid doing the lords work.
Boy if I did that I wouldn't of married my hubby, we were dating 8 mons before he got dipped, not a word said to me he could be an unbeliever.............see how sinacle the elders are, they had that guy judged as a loser------------------and stopped her from liking him------------how do they know he might of persued the religion if he had a nice wife by his side---------------------they are so damn judgemental they ruin people lives. My hubby says "they make up those experiences, don't believe a word of it..........that is how they control the stupied ones and it works." I think he is right on.

The most condescending thing said to you by the (sm)elders.
by diamondblue1974 ini wasnt the most academic of children although i had some capability but i could read quite well by the time i was 4 years old at least for my age; i have always read as a child and still read now as an adult both professionally (research) and for pleasure.
i have always been able to write too...and pretty much advanced as well as my peers did in school...perhaps i am lucky, i certainly feel like i am when illiteracy amongst adults and children is rife at present...however.. i remember when i was 16 the wts in the uk were pushing through a scheme teaching those who were not as able to read and write...and an elder in the hall made a point of coming to me and suggesting that i should actually attend the training!!
!....i explained that i could read and write well enough and didnt need to be taught basic literacy... he said that i might learn something new and should respect jehovahs order of things and show appreciation...i did decline his kind offer rather abruptly....but wtf??

Hi TJ, I can't believe how heartless those brothers were to your emotional upset. I know you were an elder, but see you had a heart. We have to remember these men are no one special, they are uneducated men, they are not fit to judge others and certainly not in any position to give advice whether it medical, financial, or spiritual for that matter. Don't worry my friends God sees all and will judge them accordingly for their actions.-----------THEY WILL PAY FOR ALL THE HURT AND PAIN THEY HAVE CAUSED OTHERS, ALL UNDER THE NAME OF THE TOWER!

Thats okay, sometimes just being alone can be a source of comfort. Take walks, read, sit outside in the fresh air and relax, it is important as you fade that you are comfortable being alone at times.........................in the witness world you are made to think if you are not on the go all the time or have every social engagement to go to you are a loser.....................but that is not true, I always say: You have your best friend with you at all times---------------THATS YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Were You Ever Confused As To Whether You Actually Committed A "Sin"?
by minimus insince the watchtower constantly "adjusts", were you ever unsure as to whether or not you might have committed a "sin"?
were you under the impression that "porneia" or "fornication" was something you did not commit----only to find out that by the "bible's" definition, you did commit this "sin"?
or perhaps you thought that you "lied"-----but realized that you were only employing "theocratic warfare" or "theocratic strategy"?

I was the closest thing to perfection, I never sinned But I could never for the life of me understand that UNFORGIVEABLE SIN---------------------SINNING AGAINST THE HOLY SPIRIT!!!!!!!!!!! What the heck is that-----------I was raised catholic in the early days, we had venial sin (small-2 our father prayers worth) then there was mortal sin which was the THE BIG BAD SINS (10 our father prayers and 5 hail mary's) my point is you knew right from the get go what kind of sin it was................but with WT. it is all a guessing game, when my sister-inlaw was DFed, we were told she commited the UNFORGIVEABLE SIN--------------what the hell is that------she screwed around with a brother---------how is this the sinning against the holy spirit?????????????? They can make things up as they go along to always keep you questioning yourself............by the way she got reinstated 6 months later, so maybe it wasn't the unforgiveable sin after all.

Were you criticized for being outspoken & lacking tact?
by LongHairGal ini seemed to have a problem with the people there because i am outspoken.
(and this was all before i had any clues to how bad the whole thing was.
) i am just an outspoken person in general and my family (not dubs) are also outspoken.

When I wanted to pioneer the elders met with me and I just thought it was a formality to see if I could handle putting in that many hours. WOW, WAS I MISTAKEN!!!!!!!!!!!! It was come in here my child so we can rip you to peices...................that they did----------what a horrible memory, my heart sank when I realized they are not going to encourage me, they are picking out every flaw I had since I was a child I just couldn't believe what I was hearing. Well one flaw that was pointed out to me by the three stooges was YOU HAVE NO TACT.............".yeah so" I said, then they proceed to insult my family by saying well we know it is not your fault because you family has not tact either so it was the way you were raised.
Oh thank you wise stooges for pointing this out to me, but don't you have to be a little forward to be a pioneer, you are put in awkward circumstance that you might have to be a little blunt, Jesus by all means was forward and blunt........................I look back now and can't believe I sat through that and cried for a week and still pioneered. The funny fact was those three stooges were the most tactless men in our congregations at the time.................picking on a poor kid who wanted to do more for God............I hate them-------------there hows that for Tact...............
