I Quit, you make an excellent point, in watching a documentary on the concentrations camps of ww2, they would clean up the healthest looking Jews and put them in a picnic setting with music and plenty of food and tell them to smile and look happy-----------then they would have the german media film this fake setting then send the news reels around the world so everybody could see that all that bad nazi torture that the world was hearing was a LIE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hm sounds a little to similar to WT Paradise Propaganda!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pictures of Paradise
by gringojj inmy wife made a comment today about all the pictures of paradise and how none of them ever show the inside of a house.
they are always the same pictures of people outside playing with lions and water in the background.
someone was talking in another post about how hard it is to make the simplest items.

Two pictures of my mom...
by bebu inone was taken about one month ago, near a beach where our family was camping.
my parents boated over to see us, and it was a beautiful day.
i happened to take one of the best photos i've ever seen of my mom: relaxed and confident, smiling with eyes twinkling, enjoying the beautiful day.

Elders wives, are they more submissive?
by JH ini know an elder (hermann) who is so fat and out of shape that his wife has to mow the lawn and shovel the entrance.
she also works hard inside to make his food and keep everything clean.
he is 73 and she is 70.. i wonder what verse he uses to make her do so much?

Panicattack Update on my wife and family situation(thanks for helping guys)
by PaNiCAtTaCk inthis is an update for any who have kept up with some of my former posts and have taken time out of their lives to give me advice on dealing with situations like having a wife who still believes and a child starting kindergarden.
these situations can quickly turn into a life crisis when a person doesnt know the proper way to deal with these things or know where to turn for help.
i am indebted to the internet and also websites like this for helping me to break free.

pathetic
by schne_belly inisnt this just pathetic.
i work for my father (a current jw) and we have some jw customers.
since my recent fading, one particular customer, an elder, has come into work for business and then carried it further to encouraging me offering a hearing ear etc.

I used ud suggestion, had my husband be my protecter, The elders always thought they could talk with me more readily than my hubby, one day I came home so upset............my husband flew over to elders house and flat out told him to stop bullying his wife, and as my head talk to him................well needless to say he said how sorry he was. And ever since there is peace, even when I see him, he is very kind to me but does not pry, Thank Jah for the headship arrangement..........
