  What is G-JOBBING for Bethelites?????????

  if you haven't already related to us the experiences at bethel that you told to your mom-in-law, (or even if you already have told us) could you tell us about what you told her.....and...what is "g-jobbing" (sorry for my naivity) .

  i didn't want to take away from sl post about his mother but i thought a little insight into the world of the bethelites would be interesting this am.

  This story is something. No wonder some of the behelites never leave HQ...their making a lot of money on the side.

  as you all know by now the spokesman for the wt is a guy named JR Brown as a black man we use to call the the Society's Louis Farrakan

  the most powerful speaker every to Grace a wt mike esp in the black community ........

  anyway when he bought his new car alot of the Heavies and i don't mean to get racial,but some of the White boys were not happy

  As they would say in the black Hood ""This Negro went out and bought a $45,000 car"

  When I got married the 2nd time around....JR Brown gave my wedding talk.

  I like your style...you say it the way it is. That probably frightened her and she didn't know how to respond, so it was easy to just change the subject and make an excuse to slip away.

  Ozzie is in hospital again.

  i received an sms last night from ozzie himself saying on saturday he collapsed and had to be taken by ambulance to hospital.. he is being operated on again this morning (wednesday 29/6/05 australia time).

  as usual with the particular operation he is having there are serious risks.

  i ask his friends to send anything positive his way today.

  hey has anyone seen this website that has a recording of a jw researcher from watchtower headquarters that calls this baptist pastor?

  the baptist pastor records the conversation.

  WOW! The person at the HQ who called this pastor became provoked and at some points through out the conversation would actually cut the pastor off in mid sentence. His tone of his voice was loud and at times sarcastic. Know wonder when the pastor asked him his name the guy would not tell him his name.

  One thing that I noticed was when the JW was reading the scriptures from 1 Corinthians 12:4-11, he misread some of the scriptures and was adding his own words into the conversations. (I was reading along with him from the NWT of the Holy Scriptures)

  Thanks for posting this, it was worth listening to.

  Thanks Blondie for those interesting points in the WT study. I liked the point that you made in paragraph # 12. There wasn't any mention of resurrection in the OT.

  Grandparents give grandson ultimatum

  this is brandon bartlett, formerly 2escaped lifers here on the forum.

  quick background: myself, wife, and two boys (10 and 12), left the borg together about three years ago.

  were da'd a little over a year ago.

  Brandon, I can only tell you what I experienced with my 14 year old daughter. (I was so nieve and not thinking clear. Never did I think that my ex-husband and others were filling my daughters head with crap, not until it was to late)

  Her father would pick her up for his weekends and give her articles to read, trying to convince her how 'bad' her mother was for not going to the meetings anymore.

  He had elders talk to her.

  Had a sister from his hall have a bible study with her.

  Showed her pictures with scare tactics of Armagedon and if she stays with me, she will be the one who will die at Armagedon.

  Over a 2 year period, by daughter gave in. Now I have lost her completely.

  You know the Grandfather more than anyone on this post. (I am sure that he is a very nice Grandfather) But please ask yourself, 'Would he/grandmother or other(s) in the KH try to convince your son of thoughts that his FATHER OR MOTHER were 'bad' for not going to the meetings? Or give him articles to read? Show him pictures of Armagedon to scare him? Over a period of visits would he give in?"
