Hmmm....now that I think about it, this could be yet another reason why Muslim truck drivers just cut a hole in the bunk of their trucks, and do their business while they drive along our freeways.

by Gill ina very good friend of mine is in charge of plant maintenance at a local factory.
there are 300 people working in this factory and two of them are muslims.
the muslims have requested that they require special toilets just for themselves.

I remember years ago, an uncle of mine, whose job it was to travel worldwide, was in a country, where a man, fully robed, suddenly stopped in front of my uncle, lifted his robes, and defecated, right on the sidewalk. Needless to say, my uncle feared imprisonment or worse if he said something, so he quietly gagged and walked the other way. How disgusting!!
I think I can safely say, "Now I've heard it all?"

i was born and raised a witness but managed to get myself out after highschool and havent been back for five or six years.

Sudburys' Nickel factory , has caused so much pollution that the trees look like they are suffering from a nuclear fallout on a barren landscape
took the words right out of my mouth Tyrone.... but I also have seen parts of downtown Vancouver that would make you shake your head. They have the beautiful mountains, the ocean, and then they have THAT part....yuck!

I sent a card
by mrsjones5 into the person who was my exfiance expressing my sympathy for his loss.
asked the hubby what he thought of me doing that and he thought it was a nice thing to do.

But I will have to say I'm getting annoyed these days, cause just about every place from Starbucks to the dry cleaners have tip jars out.
yeah that would piss me off too. I'm a good tipper, always giving more...unless, of course, the service was not good.
My friend's own a really cool restaurant, and the wait-staff are always happy to see us walk in....lol....

Can Elders who resigned or were demoted ever be reinstated as Elders?
by RULES & REGULATIONS inmy cousin and another elder in my congregation were demoted{they were asked to resign} about 5 years ago.
they both had teens who were disfellowshipped at the same time.
the reasoning was that,'' if you can't control your own household how can you control members in god's house.

Most definitely!!! I personally know of two men who were elders, one was Df'd for adultery, left his wife and married the other "sister", they were both reinstated a few years later, and he became an elder once more.
The other guy "stepped aside", and a couple years later was appointed an elder again. This guy had numerous affairs on his wife, lied about them all, and got away with it. What a fine, upstanding example.....puke.

Megan back in Hospital
by KW13 inshe's gone back into the hospital again, complaining of her symptoms worsening (they said get in if that happens) so a long couple of days turns into what is going to be a nightmare week, hopefully she gets out tomorrow.
i'm alright but things are difficult without real support.
megans mum is a clown, megans stupid brother tried messing with meg's mums head by asking if she was sure if i didnt push megan off the ladders (good job he lives in ireland) - then she has the cheek to tell me today he asked after megan, who hates him for the abuse she suffered (sexual unfortunately) when she was just 12 and he was 18. my mum and stepdad are being as helpful as they can, but when your alone at night with a crying baby and your stressed out about everything from moving, megans health, your own and financial situation it does make you realise just what the wife/mum has to manage.

Things always seem so much worse when you're lacking sleep, and at night time!! Remember, the more calm you remain, the calmer Noah will be. Having 3 children taught me that...

The Man With No Face
by qca inits been a long time since i posted here, just a quick update, my son and his family are witnesses and my grandson has decided he dosen't want to be anymore so lots of friction there at the moment.

Wow!! If you look close enough, you can see where the "normal" part of his head ends and the growth begins...that's freaky. The poor guy. I cannot begin to imagine the lifetime of ridicule he must have endured.
Why would he have to "throw his religious beliefs out the window" in order to seek help by means of operations ???
