  i am looking for my grandfather that i have never met before.

  his name is robert funk.

  my dad learned his fathers name when he applied for his social security.

  child abuse is not limited to jw's.. if you truly want to stop child abuse first start with the family , and be honest we all have a relative that is a pedophile.. then protect your family from stranger danger.. don't just isolate to jw's.. expand and truly stop the child abuse world wide.

  Two wrongs do not make a right. If you had done the above you would be just like the child abuser.
  
  I take exception to this. Retribution for wrongs done to a child is very different from the mindset of a sexual preditor. Criminal acts, yes, but with far different motivations.

  i found this thread on the justjw's forum.

  it made me feel so sad for the poster, i wondered how long she'd been waiting for paradise to arrive.

  checking her posting history reveals a very lonely 26 year old medical worker who swings between despair and delight..

  The responses to her misery were worse than useless. Faux-concern, whip out a bible, and wait on jehovah. The same effing advice flowing from the lips of every Dub worldwide.

  hello everyone, been browsing the forum for quite a while now(about a year) and decided its time to post.

  i'm male, just turned 36 on the first of april, i've been in a the process of fading for about two years now, not that easy having come from a witness family.

  i've been in doubt about this religion for most of my life, but finally built up the courage to stop going to the meetings, finding out now how big and beautiful this world is and realizing how much i missed out on "real" life!.....i started to fade about the time i was being pushed, yes pushed into becoming a ms. i did not want to have that duty, and i say duty, not "privelege" as they would say because thats what it is, a duty!

  It's nice to do something and see tangible results. We are planning to start renovations for a larger two-screen theater later this year and of course providing something that people actually want, a good evening's entertainment.
