it seems someone was disturbed that the two were alone in her appartment!
she is practically housebound and his visits to shoot the breeze and talk about the old times were the highlight of her week.
I know why the elders counselled them.
It may have looked bad to worldly people seeing two christian people of the opposite sex alone together......................................................................................................................

right now in uk, it's getting close to nov 5, 'bonfire night', a celebration of guy fawks attempt to blow up parliament.
question... why do some idiots let fireworks off for one week prior and a full week after nov 5?
A couple of years ago I went to a dance party in Thailand. Before it started, I was talking to a local about the event. He says, good time, many fishermen fireworks. What is fishermen fireworks? Dynamite!!!
And yes, about halfway thru the night this god almighty flash and roar (and blast wave!) goes off in a small area thats not packed with drunken/stoned partyers. Next a drunken Thai fires a rocket thru the crowd!!!
Time to get a beer and safe spot for a while.....

Imagine the gb decided that eating oranges was a sin. A watchtower article would come out twisting scripture to suit. Next, time would be put aside at meetings to discuss the evils of orange eating. Then a process of identifying the apostates who still eat oranges would be put in place.
