i just read that kate moss has been given more modelling jobs now that she's been a whole month "clean" of using cocaine which is how she kept her body at skin and bones.
i hear lots of women say they'd "love to have a body like hers", when we know the only way she can keep that skinny is by using drugs.
i was told that i was "just jealous" and that "all women would like to be that thin.
mmmmmmmmm, curves!!!

a certain catholic xjw (jeff schwem) and i have been following the same blog for several months.
in this blog, the young woman has been documenting her conversion to jwism.
i have not always been so kind in my comments as jeff has been, but i have been honest.
Over the course of 4-5 months, I have seen several people present detailed pro-Trinity arguments. I don't understand why.
Some people feel very strongly about the Trinity, but being an ex-catholic as well as an ex-jw, I don't think it's the best way to get through to a person who believes JW doctrine. I've always believed the most effective weapon against the watchtower is it's own literature.

a small horn gains the ascendancy
20 i kept on considering the horns, said daniel, and, look!
another horn, a small one, came up in among them, and there were three of the first horns that were plucked up from before it.
31 Harassment of God’s anointed ones climaxed on June 21, 1918, when the president, J. F. Rutherford, and prominent members of the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society were sentenced on false charges to long prison terms. Intending “to change times and law,” the “small” horn had effectively killed the organized preaching work. (Revelation 11:7) So the foretold period of “a time, and times and half a time” ended in June 1918. 32 But “the holy ones” were not wiped out by the harassment from the “small” horn. As prophesied in the book of Revelation, after a short period of inactivity, the anointed Christians became alive and active again. (Revelation 11:11-13) On March 26, 1919, the president of the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society and his associates were released from prison, and they were later exonerated of the false charges against them. Immediately thereafter, the anointed remnant began to reorganize for further activity. What, though, would be in store for the “small” horn?
This is one thing that made no sense to me as a JW. Many people have spent a little time in jail when innocent of any crime - myself included, but most do not interpret it as some kind of fulfillment of prophecy. I wish these JW crackheads would get over themselves! A handfull of cultists spend a few months in jail and then spend the next hundred years squealing like bloody pigs about it! W
it would be really cool if we could have a website that was geared toward the activist xjw.
not necessarily a discussion board type, but one that was a clearing house for all things jw.
especially have links to attorneys, known xjw media personnel, links to senators and other lawmakers.
what purpose would that serve? if you aren't part of the religion, why not just go about your daily life? why do you feel it necessary to go and picket or have politicians in your pocket or other such nonsense? if you're not prepared to picket against Jews, Muslims, Catholics, Hindus, etc., then don't go picketing against anyone else either. live your life as you see fit, and let others do the same with their lives.
So tell me, where were you when Jehovah's Witnesses were picketing other Christian churches and carrying signs that said, "Religion's a Snare and a racket"?

i found this on another board.
though he didn't hit every topic, he did a decent job of covering both sides.
it also features brenda lee, author of out of the cocoon
Thanks for posting, Bryan!

i was antique crazy years ago.
used to go to all the sales i could.
i went to an estate sale and fell head over heels for a large ornate brass bed.
So what if the furniture has demons! Aren't you just supposed to say "Jehovah" aloud and the demons will run off screaming in fear? What's the problem?
There's this really HOT Demoness who came with my ottoman. She sometimes gives me a nice pedicure, and when she finishes she moves a little higher and...

Guys, if you had your choice, would you rather sleep with Kate Moss or Kate Winslet? (who starred in Titanic)
Kate Winslet!
I have no use for skinny bonerack women. I want a woman who's got something I can hang on to!!! When I smack that butt I want to hear some sound!!! When I wake up in the morning I want to find a woman, not some toothpick or strand of dental floss.

i see a lot of happier people around here.
I never knew how to "hate" until I became a JW. I was taught to "hate what was bad" which means everything not controlled by the watchtower. I was perpetually angry when I was a JW. Now that I'm out, there was never any guilt, but I was angry at the watchtower and at myself for some time. Mostly the anger is gone, but talking to a JW for a few minutes is usually enough to get me going again. As long as I shun them I'm fine.

let's say it plainly, for once.
jehovah's witnesses deserve to be persecuted.. at one time, jehovah's witnesses suffered terribly in germany and communist countries - but that was a long time ago.. right now, the watchtower's minions are slyly preaching to circuit assemblies about the importance of shunning their ex-witness.
relatives.
Persecuted - Absolutely not!
Depends on whose definition of persecution you're using. Should they be rounded up and put in concentration camps? Definitely not! But the JW definition of persecution includes any manner of disagreement. My ex used to accuse me of "attacking" her if I as much as said I disagreed with the watchtower on anything. She said many times, "When you attack the watchtower you're attacking me!" All I had to do was say I didn't believe in Noah's flood and I would be accused of "attacking" or "persecuting" her. Yet when she called the locksmith and illegally changed the locks to keep me out of my own home, and called police when I came by to get my belongings I was not being persecuted for my disbelief.
I think all religions and cults should be subject to government scrutiny. If they are a "charitible" organization they should be obligated to provide evidence of their charitible work - and I don't mean transferring money back and forth between their various corporations. People should have freedom of religion, but not the freedom to impose their beliefs on others. Baptism of minors should be prohibited. Any form of physical, emotional, sexual, or spiritual abuse should be punished severely.

i read a scientific study a few months ago that stated the women where more susceptible to religion than men.
(i am trying to find this article as i dont like not backing up my claims.
anyway it got me thinking a lot.
Well I told my mother the problems I have with depression (suicidal) directaly induced from the hall, she brushes it off and tells me that if i did more in the truth I would indeed see that his load is light.
Now that makes a lot of sense - increasing your load to lighten it! Only a cult could come up with that sort of foolish reasoning. Please don't discuss your depression with a member of the cult - talk to your doctor instead. Since you recognize the source of the depression I'd suggest doing something about that.
It always seemed to me there were more women than men in the congregations, though I don't have any statistics. Most of the single men were far beneath the single women, and it was always a source of irritation to me that these women, many of whom were quite HOT, were not getting all the sex they deserved. I wish I could have helped, but I was married at the time.
