Studying
by tattoogrl333 ini flat out asked the jw i'm studying with what she would do if someone was disfellowshipped and she was honest and said she wouldn't talk to them since they wouldn't be good examples of jehovah witness.
then we started talking about appearances and tattoos, and about my pink hair :) and she said it didn't matter.
i am enjoying reading and visiting this web site but i am just not seeing the same things you guys have.

Tattoo, a dear friend of mine was df'd, she then got married, not only did her mother not attend the wedding, she will not even look or hold my friends new baby! her own grand child! Anyway I think its great that you quit drinking and drugs.

For those who still care
by Rex B13 inthis is a post to my old friend, farkel, whom i have often argued with over the last three years.
it may apply to those who know me from before, when i defended the watchtower....for about three months.. don't feel sorry for me, old friend.. i am seeing the evidence of our lord in my daily walk with him.
i have seen cancer healed with no explanation from doctors as to how.

Rex, I do not beleive in spiritual healing, yes I beleive the person was healed but I think they healed themselves with their mind, if the mind can make someone sick, it can also heal. our own minds are so powerful!

Is Hatred Really Just "Loving Less"?
by TMS inthe bible says the jacob hated leah, the gal he was tricked into marrying after seven years of hard work at minimum wage.
for many years watchtower publications have tried to take the sting out of jacob's disdain for wife #1 by saying that he really didn't hate leah, just "loved her less".. i think he hated her.. its not that hard to understand.
if a man works seven long years, each night going to sleep with visions of a certain bright-eyed girl and then gets stuck with her dull-eyed plain sister, resentment could build.

seldon admit that another jw has no natural love, it is
just their "personality". while someone in "the world" who behaves
exactly the same will be deemed as having "no natural love" Has anyone else encountered this?

Slayer, you betcha alcohol is physically addicting. I do on occasion take prescription med for recreation, HOWEVER never have I touched an illegal strteet drug since I became a mother. When i get a kidney stone I will save the percocet my doc gives me and take one here and there, I dont drink at all so i dont feel bad about this.
