Anyone here love good wine? I am going to Maifest in Hermann, MO. this weekend and partaking freely. There are several great wineries there and we get a group together every year for Maifest and Oktoberfest. We start at the wineries when they open at 11:00 AM and then when they close at 6:00 PM, we hit the Beer Gardens. It is so much fun and the wines are great. We go to a place called Bias Winery first where they make a fantastic Reisling along with a few other good wines, then hit a couple of mediocre wineries on the way to the Adam Puchta Winery which makes a great white wine called Adam's Choice and a WONDERFUL dessert wine called Jazzbery, then we go to Hermannhoff Winery where my favorite is to mix their Cherry Wine with some Golden Spumante and make a spritzer. Then we eat and go to a little Beer Garden behind the Rieff House B & B where we drink a German beer called Oberdorfer Weiss Light. Most of these places can be found online if anyone wants to look and see what I am talking about. It's a great time!

Collecting magazines ???

when i was in jw land, i used to like keeping a copy of each magazine, i did this for years, then one day my mom found them in my closet, and chewed me out for keeping them ( ???????

go figure).

she said magazines were for placing not keeping, do you know how much money you wasted, i might of been 13 or so at the time, i never forgot that experience.. anyone else have similar experiences regarding literature ??

An Update on My Nephews Death

for anyone who has listened to me rant about this, there was a little bit of good news today.

my sister got a lt. with the hwy.

patrol to sit down and listen to her today and he agreed that she had some very good questions about how my neohew's case was handled and has agreed to look into some things.

Hopefully, he will agree with her suspicions and get the case re-opened. Please everyone, keep your fingers crossed.

Whoever posted the comment about Boone's Farm Strawberry Hill wine sure brought back memories. I LOVED that crap! Speaking of wine, I am going to Maifest in Hermann MO this weekend and drinking all the wine my poor body can handle

Favorite smells or sounds -- or not

here in the northern hemisphere we are experiencing spring.. there are some smells i just love especially in the spring.

fresh cut grass just makes me feel good.

a fresh spring rain is very comforting.

i know that you already know what he has told us through his word, but i am curious to wonder why you have chosen to jump off the narrow road which leads to everlasting life.

is it because you have had a bad experience in god's organization?

I like my so-called "wicked" ways and am happier than when I was a slave to the Borg. I am not giving my wicked" lifestyle up but commend you for getting you hours in this month by trying to convert us! LOL

OMG!!!!!!!!!!! Ok, you WANT me to have a heart attack don't ya???? Jeez, that man is fine. Hey, remember when his Porsche got stolen a few years ago and dumped in a lake? Well, that happened about 6 miles from my house! Little hoosier geeks stole his car from off a transport truck right up the road from my house, drove it about 5 1/2 hours away to Lake of the Ozarks and pushed it in the lake. Freakin little hoosiers!
