  ok, my subject is totally joking, but i really do need some advice.

  i purchased a $7 dollar keychain digital picture viewer from ebay.

  it arrived in the mail, i uploaded a bunch of pictures....and then realized its a piece of crap.

  I doubt that your neice will ever be a significant part of your life. She is a child and she will forget you if you are not around. The last time I saw my nephew, who I babt sat his first two years of his life every day, was at a memorial. I walked up to him and he looked at me like I was a complete stranger. I said, "Matthew, where's my hug?" he reluctantly hugged me like I had a disease. That just killed me. I felt like walkiing away right there, but I went in the KH anyway and stayed in the back and didn't talk to anybody. I just wanted to vomit over the whole thing. I had to cut my nephew out of my heart that day. I knew he would never be a part of my life and there would never be any relationship to speak of. If he/she is not your kid, then you don't have a right to contact them as much as it hurts.

  Anybody donate blood and send in the "You're Welcome Watchtower" card yet?

  just curious if anyoner has.. you can download the ajwrb brochure from ajwrb.org, and send in the page that is pre-addressed to the watchtower society, and basically says that you have donated blood and that the blood you donated will likely be transfused int a jw saving their lives.

  it then suggests a "thank you" might be in order from ther watchtower since your own life blood was sacrificed so that jws could be saved.. i think this is a powerful action.

  i hope the wt gets lots of these cards, and i can't wait until someone posts the "thank you for the thought" (cuz we all know that's how they are going to word it right?

  I still am certain that JWs will not get DAd or DFd for taking blood. And we should shout it from the mountain tops that the Watchtower is just making empty threats to its people. The prospect of getting DAd for taking blood is what causes the FEAR in JWs when they are laying on a gouney bleeding to death. As exJWs we must fight this fear. We must root out the fear mechanism so that JWs can make medical choices in a neutral emotional environment where fear does not cost them their lives. if JWs were REALLY allowed to make a choice based on their own free conscience, then we would see more JWs taking blood. On the other hand if the Watchtower were actually committed to sever contact with all who take a blood transfusion, we would see a body count, and a MASS of disaffected, disassociated JWs all over the internet, on this forum and any other JW forum, who have been kicked out over this issue. Where are these people? Still no affirmative proof that anyone has been DAd or DFd for this.

  I'm not sure which one was funnier the documentary or the Lil Britain skit. But I do think it is beautiful what that little fanily was describing. It may be unusual but it isn't gross to me at all. To each his own I say.

  i just happened to see them walking along a few stops before my bust stop, so i got off early to see if i could catch them.

  then i ran into someone i knew, but i still was able to catch up to them.. i told them who i was and that i work with ajwrb.

  they of course haven't heard about it, but i invited them to go on and check it out.

  I told them who I was and that I work with AJWRB. They of course haven't heard about it, but I invited them to go on and check it out. Then we talked for about an hour. I did most of the talking. Some of the points I covered were:

  1. If you take a blood transfusion now you will not get disassociated or DFd

  2. JWs already accept almost every kind of blood transfusion there is.

  3. I asked them if they have decided which blood fractions they will accept. They never heard of a blood fraction or any of the names of blood fractions ie. albumin or hemoglobin, never heard of an autologous blood transfusion, never heard of cell saver technology, never heard of ANYTHING. They were completely clueless about any point I brought up.

  4. The changes that took place in the late 1990s

  5. The Bulgaria / European court on human rights scandal

  6. The most nbeautiful and respectful thing you can do with blood in imitation of Jesus Christ is to save a life with your blood.

  7. JWs accept donated blood

  8. JW lives are saved by people who donate blood.

  9. White blood cells are never transfused anymore so they don't need to ever worry about receiving white blood cell transfusions

  Anyway, I covered the gamut of blood issues and they listened very respectfully the whole time. At one point they said they needed to go to the meeting for Service, but I reminded them that they could count time talking to me. So they looked at their watches and continued listening.

  One of them really was interested, but the other one was more reserved and suspicious. needless to say they both have a lot of dissonant information running around their heads. I asked them if they were elders or ministerial servants yet and they said no. So I am thinking I caught them at a really good time, before they are really indoctrinated to the max. The fact that they stayed and listened to me shows their inexperience in the JW world. Almost any JW would have cut it short very quickly, since I was talking about helping JWs choose blood transfusions when their lives are endangered.

  I think I made a ripple in a pond. They will definitely talk to their elders about it and their elders will tell them it was all lies. But I suspect they knew I was being truthful to them. I think they will remember that conversation a really long time. Imagine if every JWNer had a similar experience, how many ripples would be spreading through the organization right now.

  you can cut & paste all the excerpts from articles you want...you can leak all the boe letters, you can pretend to be witnesses and come to the conventions and meetings...but.

  no other organization can begin to rival the success and magnitude of the prophecy found in mt 24:14. so apostates....don't waste your time spending countless hours digging up articles and reading books to convince yourself to turn away from jh's organization.

  no matter what "evidence" you find you cannot ignore the obvious fulfillment of matthew 24:14.. .
