OK believers, time to put up or shut up...

apparently, a large percentage of xjw's who post on this site have embraced some other form of god/jesus belief to replace the wt doctrine.

most of them fall into the "i accept the lord jesus christ as my personal savior" class.

they are still extremely attached to the old "forgiveness of sin through the shed blood of jc" line.

WOW, I came late to the party.

My question is this..........If god is love, AND all powerful, all knowing, etc. etc. why in the h&ll does he demand worship from the pitifull little creatures he made. Why does he put sharp things in the way, for us to poke ourselves on, if he is LOVE? If you knew any human who taunted and tortured small animals the way "god" does to his beloved creations, you'd say they were sick, mean, or just plain evil. What does he need to prove, and to whom? US???? That idea smacks of either vanity or insecurity, which, if he's god...........????

How about non-christians? These religions are older than Jerry Fallwell, Jimmy Swaggert, OR the Pope, but christians "know better". Same old story, superior, self satisfied, judgemental, opiated, fearful, somebody do my thinking for me, bible pushers.

Ain't no god. Go ahead, somebody tell me ain't ain't a word.

During the assembly did you ever notice ... ???

growing up as a kid in the 70's (and early 80's), did you ever notice at the assembly that there was always someone who had a tape recorder on stage and was taping the whole assembly.

are these tapes around today, generally i would love to hear some talks that were given before 1975 and see how many brothers said something big was going to happen, because we all know the watchtower never said that !!!

(yeah right).. any websites that might have a few of these or other interesting topics ???.

How do some of you, find so much time to be on this board?

i have noticed that some posters are here a lot, and i was just wondering how you find so much time to do that?

between work, coming home and playing with my child, working outdoors in the yard, and enjoying the weekend in the outdoors doing fishing, hiking or just getting outside.

i have little time for places like this and yet some are here "a lot!

I think posting from work is not uncommon. But if you are here often, you stay up to date without as much effort, and you can dash off a reply in no time. Unless you are one of the more intellectual type posters who may want to actually think about what they write

Diet, exercise, post inury -- any suggestions?

the week before i broke my foot, i resolved to join weight watchers and start exercising.

now, i'm still planning to do it, but have a great excuse not to bother with either one right now.

and in order to deal with anything, i have to go up and down my staircase to get outside!

If you are not one of those antiChiropractor people, I strongly suggest you go see one after the "boot" comes off. I had a cast on my foot for 6 weeks, and I continued to work and run around. It makes you so lopsided, and puts so much stress on your hips and "good" leg and foot, you really should get an allignment after it comes off. I am sure that 6 weeks is what led to my eventual back problems.

As far as diet goes, stay away from processed and "white" foods. Drink LOTS of water.

I think it depends on what kind of day I am having. If I'm depressed I go right for topics that will make me feel like crap. If I'm in a good mood, it's all about the humor.

My only comment on this thread is why can't a muslim speak his mind here? I didn't see that he was advocating pedophilia, I saw him dissing Judaism and Christianity. This may not be the place for it, but why is it any less acceptable than so many other topics we have addressed?
