So, I opened my big mouth and my sister-in-law called me an apostate . . .
by Olin Moyles Ghost ina few nights ago, mrs. ghost and i joined her family for a nice dinner on the occasion of her parents' anniversary.
they are all witnesses and decent folks--not elders or "big shots," but as far as i can tell they all buy into the jw stuff.
it was a pleasant evening, with a lot of reminiscing on the part of the in-laws.

Heres what I remember about the generation changes, from the assemblies etc.
1. A generation is 30 years. (armageddon by 1934/35)
2. A generaton is 70 to 80 years. BUT the person should be old enough at 1914 to understand the sign.(armageddon by 1975/85)
3. A generaton is 70 to 80 years. The generation was born around 1914. (armageddon by 1995)
4. A generation is people who were born around a certain period of time who saw certain events. (very confusing this one).
5. Generation” apparently refers to the peoples of earth who see the sign of Christ’s presence but fail to mend their ways."
6. The generation means the anointed remnant who see the sign. (and now the annointed can go on forever because they are basicly saying the book was not closed in 1935)

New Light - ?
by ocsrf injanuary 15, 2008 watchtower, page 23 paragraph 16. it seems, however, that not all who have been called to a heavenly hope since the 1930's are replacements for ones who have fallen away.
jehovah has evidently made sure that we will have anointed christians amoung us all through the final days of this system of things until the destruction of "babylon the great.

LADIES: .....Do you HONESTLY want your husband to be your best friend?
by Bourne insome women i have known speak of their desire to have the person they marry to also be their best friend.......other's relate that they already.

I can relate to all of you guys that have said you are best friends with your mate. Our interests are completely different too. We have awesome chemistry and self awareness. We are very comfortable doing our own thing or going out together. We argue like crazy over simple things, like putting up a tent. lol
He buys me "womens things" at times and is very comfortable, yet he can still be a mans man and has just gone on a 5 day bucks "weekend" surfing, golfing and drinking beer.
I just realised I love him more with every moment that goes by. (Except when I hate his guts because he's an insensitive selfish a-hole)

My husband was my best friend for several years from 15 yo, then one day I realised I loved him. We got married. We are still best friends 18 years later and no one knows us like we know each other.

How many calories do you eat a day?
by JH ini was surprised to see that there are 330 calories in 2 handfulls of peanuts, and 440 calories in a big daddy cookie that i eat every day.. i'm not overweight, far from it, but i weigh 15 lbs more than i did 10 years ago.
back then i was a little too slim.
i would like to lose just 5 lbs in the stomach area especially, not more, so that should be easy, right.. .

If you don't eat enough Sademo, you will slow down your metabolism, so you won't lose. Your body starts to hang ono every little bit it can. You should eat at least 1500 cals, if your a man usually 2000. Then its excercise. Excercise and muscle. Muscle metabolises fat, so do carbohydrates when you excercise and only eat carbs before 12pm and never eat after 7pm.

OH god! I eat way too many. A while ago I was eating 1800 and excercising four plus hours a day. I was losing 2 kgs on average per week. It was bloody hard, now I've given up and put back on all that I lost. Not sure whether to go back on the old plan or try something a bit more subdued. Losing it fast sure does motivate you, but you get tired.
