Study articles I would love to comment on:
by OnTheWayOut ini made this comment on stilla's thread, but i thought it could be it's own thread.. as the wts starts the "members only" study mags, it is possible that they will .
bring out newer topics that they didn't want the public mags to have.. joke or be serious (please joke more) but what study articles would you like to see?.

Prince and Heterosexual Males
by Blueblades inprince's statement that solomon is his idol because he had a thousand wives, has had a comment made on another link known as channel "c" .." the average heterosexual male is only able to have intercourse between five and seven thousand times in a lifetime.
" so, solomon's wives must of have been frustrated because of this.... i don't understand how this statement was documented, the five to seven thousand times, and what is considered a lifetime, and who were the heterosexual males that were tested to support this.
?..not you, mister hugh hefner.

JWs and the fear of death
by greendawn inthere was a recent thread on whether the wts attracts emotionally disturbed individuals which is unlikely to be the case since so many jws do not fit that description.
later i thought perhaps the wts appeals to people that deep inside have a fear of death which is scientifically called thanatophobia (from the greek word thanatos which means death) an excessive and abnormal fear of death.
what do you think, many jws find it very difficult to come to terms with the inevitability of their (and everyone else's) death and the wts plays with this fear and makes them believe that the end of this world and immortality for the dubs are very near.

Is it appropriate for a stranger to comment on a woman's bruises?
by rebel8 inif you saw a woman in public, and said woman was a complete stranger to you, would you feel it's appropriate to discuss it with her (if you're concerned she is in an abusive relationship)?
if you did, would it be appropriate to do it within earshot of others?
and if she offered you an explanation other than abuse, how would you proceed?

Apostate terminology
by Mum inmy daughter and i, fun-loving apostates that we are, have some terms we use regarding the wt organization and other cults.
i would like my fellow posters here to tell us their terms, buzz words, etc., to add to our list: to get the ball rolling, two of our favorites are:.
cookie-cutter theology.
