  Granted I've never been married, but I've been pretty close to being married and I'm deathly afraid of commitment right now. I recently just put myself out there to a guy I thought was honest with me only to find out that he had a wife and three kids and was lying about loving me and all this other jazz... I am definitely not going to commit myself to something like that anymore. Relationships are way overrated.

  Embarassed about JW relatives?

  do you feel embarassed if people know that you have jw relatives given the many and well known strange ideas they embrace eg about blood transfusions and the belief that all non jws will be killed soon?

  here are my wife's notes from the co talk this past tuesday.. 1c christians preached despite demonic activity (acts 4:1,2).

  acts 4:18-20 shows they continued b/c they had god's spirit.

  acts 5 all the apostles were imprisoned and about to be put to death, but were beaten & released instead.

  well, it's cold in alaska.. i'm on a billion dollar boat with a dial up internet connection, and a, well, boat load of asians.. god, those people photograph everything.

  i took my shoes off in the gym, and i had like sixteen little asian girls looking at them.

  oh, the stories i could tell..... the funniest thing is watching my grandfather communicate with the foreign staff.

  Do you think that with all this publicity and knowing that this isn't the first case that has happened, but do you think that the JW's will stand behind Cano or do you think they will start to open their eyes and realize what they are doing is wrong?

  Personally, I think they are going to stand behind this crap and say that everything was taken care of within the organization... hopefully I am wrong though.

  y'no, i find that since i left the borg, i know more about whats in the literature and programs than when i was in.

  when your going through the motions,er, meetings, you kind of skate along.

  you read enough of the mags to place them, and listen to other zealots ( like my sister) prattle on about little nuggets of something other than gold, in the latest mag.

  I dont really pay much attention to it, but I never really had. I think when I go to meetings I am more attuned to things now b/c I listen to hear all the crap that they are saying and the brainwashing that they have all encountered, but I try not to read the literature except when necessary for my parents.

  What movie makes you cry?
