" The JW 's family sure is into gossip arn't they "
He sure hit that nail on the head!
they have turned to the world (aka darkside ) and will end up becoming terrible horrible people !?????
well that is what one jw told a fellow workmate of my husbands .
a couple of days ago my hubby and i were looking at toys in the store when a jw( former friend of ours) stopped to chat with us .we said nothing about the gifts being for xmas (unless she over heard our personal conversation ).
" The JW 's family sure is into gossip arn't they "

since the wts speaks so beamingly about ,and quotes never endingly solomons writings, we should consider it possible that ,since solomon died apparently as an apostate that perhaps ray franz and we too may get everlasting life and he may even be quoted one day.
this would be consistant would'nt it?
what say ye?
If the bible says at Romans 6:23 "For the wages sin pays is death, but the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord", then shouldn't everyone who dies be resurrected? After my DF'd mom died, my elder father said maybe she'll be resurrected. I said exclaimed, "Maybe!" and then quoted this scripture to which his only reply was you might be right.
i usually tell them i'm da.i tend to feel like it's my way of respecting their belief that way.when i was a dub i wouldn't have wanted to talk to a df or da ed person.i was at a family wedding a couple of weeks ago and lots of people came up and said hi to me.people who know who i am and know i'm da ed.i was polite and said hi back but i didn't really talk to anyone unless they talked to me first.i'm asking this question because my second cousin came up to me and said hi.he asked how i was doing i said i'm great.then i told him i'm da ed.he said really i said yes it's been 8 happy years since i left.then i walked away.i think i was rude.what do you say when people come up to you and say hi?
?
My husband and I are DA'd. The JWs we do see run away. It as though they'll catch some type of incurable disease if they even look at us. We've even been stopped beside some JWS at a red light and I'll wave. The JW instantly turns the other way and pretends they didn't even see me. This has happened to my husband too. Funny story...I pulled up to a drive thru teller at the bank and the teller was a JW who instantly left the window. A couple minutes later another, very polite teller approached the window and assisted me. What the heck?! This is a business and it was her job to help me despite our religious differences. If I hadn't been in my p.js I would have marched into the bank and spoke with manager about the incident. So, now I just shun them before they have a chance to shun me. It makes me feel better in some warped way. My husband tells me to get over it. Perhaps in time I will.
dear newest best friends,.
we spend a lot of time here - learning and helping one another out - a worldwide "brother- and sisterhood.
" quite different from what we left behind.
You mentioned we had some really good times. Yes I agree. Some really good friends? No. Good friends stick by, hold your hand, lend you their shoulder to cry on...you get the idea. They don't drop you like a hot tamale because your spiritual outlook has changed. So what. Your inner core is still the same. You hold fast to the same morals. You wouldn't think of harming your "really good friends" or severing ties with them because they decided to change from lets say Methodist to (insert whatever). That's what makes the whole JW thing so wacky. It forces people to do things against nature i.e. shun loved ones
As far as painless relationships goes. My sons and my best friend (who is more of a mother to me).
from "should you believe in the trinity"the catholic encyclopedia also comments: "in scripture there is as yet no single term by which the three divine persons are denoted together.
the word [tri'as] (of which the latin trinitas is a translation) is first found in theophilus of antioch about a. d. 180. .
shortly afterwards it appears in its latin form of trinitas in tertullian.
Good luck. It shouldn't be hard to prove all the misquotes. Another book which is a hot bed of misquotes is the "Creation" book. I hope your co-worker see the "new light" you're showing him.
when i stopped going to meetings, i faded away slowly.
we always tend to think that we are the ones who faded away and that the jw's in general wanted us to stay.. but if you think about it, the elders, ms, and every good jw who still attend meetings, are also the ones fading.
the only difference is that they are fading the people who left.
Yep, shows that JW 'love' is totally conditional on meeting attendance and going door-knocking on a saturday morning.
How true this is. What about Jesus' words at Matthew 18:12-14?
12 "What do YOU think? If a certain man comes to have a hundred sheep and one of them gets strayed, will he not leave the ninety-nine upon the mountains and set out on a search for the one that is straying? 13 And if he happens to find it, I certainly tell YOU, he rejoices more over it than over the ninety-nine that have not strayed. 14 Likewise it is not a desirable thing with my Father who is in heaven for one of these little ones to perish.
Isn't this scripture taught at the "elder" school? Doesn't any JW "shepherd care about what Jesus is saying in this scripture? This has always made me want to scream and shout and kick and jump up and down and .....
no: "never in these instances, however, did they presume or originate predictions in the name of jehovah.
never did they say these are the words of jehovah.
" (aw 3/22/93).
"round and round the merry-go-round, the monkey chased the weasel..."
All this yes/no flip flop reminds me of watching my dog run around chasing his tail--amusing, frustrating and pointless.
a while back i posted revelation "adjustments": complete analysis with detailed comparison of old and new versions, including what kind of adjustments, changes and revisions were involved.. thanks to help from jgnat, you may also download the analysis here in pdf, ready to print.. (http://www.savefile.com/files/348990).
proof that we are more informed then most jws!.
Thanks!
just checked the www.watchtower.org and there is an frontpage article which surely is a ncessary read for all those you eagerly following the slave class in an effort to gain everlasting life.. it's life-saving title is "pets - how do you view them?".
urgent information needed to survive the impending strike of armageddon!!.
and here is how the article starts:.
DO NOT GO TO THE ZOO! Zoos are cruel punishment and a prison to animate. You would not want to go gawk at the animals. Watchtower, 11/15/49, p.349; Awake, 5/8/73, p. 18
It's life-saving title is "Pets - How do you view them?". Urgent information needed to survive the impending strike of Armageddon!!
LOL!! Stay away from the zoos and you'll survive!
i just emailed the dr. phil show with significant aspects of my story--not just the jw stuff but with being a large part of the complicated picture and said i would be willing to air my issues on their show.
the hidden horrors of marital sex abuse and of sleep-rape, specifically, must be exposed to the general public.
too many believe that it's not even possible to rape a sleeping woman...and they are soooo wrong, as my firsthand experience attests!!!
They actually have an official guideline that breaks down which sexual behaviors/ acts fall under categories of wrongdoing (and, therefore, warrant which label/ punishment)
Yes, I realize that. However, either you've had coition or not. Plain and simple. Why do they need the details of all the "fluff" if coition did occur?
is it legal in your state to allow adults to glean from 17 year old girls their most secret and personal sexual experiences ?
That I don't know, but definately a great question. The only problem is that this whole thing happened about nearly 2 years ago. Not to mention that they would twist their words and lie to the authorities to fit the JW agenda. As hindsight is 20/20, I should had hidden recorder in my bag.
