You are in your car and drive by a woman who is having car trouble... a flat tire. She's struggling to get the tire changed. She clearly needs help. You assume she is not a JW. Would you have stopped?
as a witness, i can honestly say i did little to nothing to help people who were not witnesses.
if there was a disaster, i would look to see if the local witnesses were okay and honestly cared nothing about the others.
i donated to no charities, because they would be helping nonwitnesses.
I agree wholeheartly. JW's are blinded to the "truth". With the same deception they extend to others to suck them into the organization..... they too have been deceived by the greatest deceiver of all time... Satan himself.
our good friend dan sydlik died today about 2 pm eastern time.

lately he has had little influence among the ted (aka the boss) jaracz (head of the bethel cia - the service department) henchmen and loyalists.

i have been reading all of the feed back for saddler and the others.
i too have been in a relationship with a jw for a little over a year.
i love her very much but all the abuse i have taken over the pass year from her elders, uncles, grandfather...etc has really taken it's toll on me.
Since this is a discussion board and you guys have laid things out there for discussion and opinions... here's mine. The WTS is a high mind control group. Some call it a cult. GET OUT OF THESE RELATIONSHIPS WHILE THE GETTING IS STILL GOOD BEFORE YOU WASTE ANY MORE OF YOUR TIME, ENERGY, AND EMOTIONS. It takes far more than love to make and hold together any relationship especially marriage. Both of these women are hoping to convert you to their way of thinking.

You know, Unclear, as well as anyone that the WTS wants you and everyone else to swallow everything they say without question. Independent thinking is out. Check this out.
In ACTS 17 Paul had been preaching the "good news" at Thessalonica in the local synagogue sayong, "This Jesus who I am proclaiming to you is the Christ". He won many people over to the Lord. Some of the Jews formed a mob to try to silence Paul and the other believers. Now, here is the clincher which is COMPLETELY CONTRARY TO WHAT THE WTS TEACHES.
Paul leaves there and goes to Berea. He heads straight for the local synagogue to do his thing. Speaking about the Jews in the synagogue there the author of ACTS says..... 17:11,12.... Now these (the Jews) were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica, for they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily, to see whether these things (what Paul was preaching) were so. Many of them therefore believed (after searching the Scriptures to see if what Paul was saying was true)... .
SEARCH FOR THE TRUTH..... God wouldn't have it any other way. The GB boys don't want you to "seek" a thing. They only want you to "swallow".
as many of you know i will be meeting with the elders from my hall today.
i had decided to come clean and just tell them that i don't believe in this anymore.
however tonight i talked to one of my friends who is still a witness and i realized that there are a lot of people who would be very hurt if i got dfed, so i have made the choice to go into that meeting today and lie my ass off.
The great thing about life is that we all get to make our own decisions.... and live with the consequences. Nevertheless, I can think of a 1,000 reasons why the path you have chosen is not a wise one. The time for such consideration is passed. Best wishes.

i just talked with my non-jw female friend (grown-up) who had gotten an invitation to the "deceptive memorial".
i have tried to educate her on jw doctrine.
UB...... I always have a mouthful......which can be a disadvantage when I should be listening.
Here is a little update. I couldn't get my DF'd friend on the phone. Here's what I did instead. I went by her work yesterday. I said..... "I came to the mall for one thing only today". She said... "what".... shopping? I said "no, I only came out here to cjeck up on you and see how you were doing". Something the "bros" from the congo don't do..... the sorry bastards. She was taken back I would verbalize such a thing and thanked me saying that was sweet ( you know women.... men don't use the word sweet... in general).
The conversation lasted less than a minute and she got busy. I said "I'll be back". I head out into the mall....find a "friendship card" and write a little note about how she's worthwile, valuable, and how I enjoy her friendship. I include..."_____, you are loved UNCONDITIONALLY."
I head back... ask her she feels about "special treats" and handed her the "Thank You" card. She reads it several times and then comments..... "thank you so much for the card". She was beaming as I said......"would Jesus shun you... did he shun the hooker who was about to be stoned to death"? No..... he said "let him who is without sin cast the first stone". Everyone left... no stones thrown.... and her took her by the hand.
When I left... she was still beaming with a smile on her face.
How do you win over a young DF'd JW.... one little act of real kindness and love at a time. Who doesn't want to be unconditionally loved?
first i went to the blood center and gave blood.
i got the "i gave" sticker.
i also wore my cross necklace and walked in the doors speaking to everyone like i never left.
What a FANTASTIC testimony of where you have been and where you are now. I'm going to print out your post and give it to my DF'd 19 year old friend. She was DF'd 6 months ago, but still attends the mind control meetings most of the time. I have the pleasure of loving her UNCONDITIONALLY.... a concept that is completely new to her. It's making a difference...... your testimony is icing on the cake though. Thanks!

This Godless mind control group is beginning to really piss me off. "Beware of the false prophets who come to you in sheeps clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. YOU WILL KNOW THEM BY THEIR FRUITS". Matt.7:15,16. If one goes back and clicks on my screen name you can read the thread I started about my DF'd friend. The only thing she has ever known is the WTS. The only love she has ever know is the "conditional, BS, fake" love that the KH hands out. They are incapable of real love simply because they know not the real God who is the author of Love. They know only of a wolf in sheep's clothing known as the WTS.
I've been "working" on my DF'd friend if that's what one wants to call it. I must be doing something right because I had not seen her recently.... 7 days or so.... and I stopped by where she works. She did something that was a total shock. She greeted me with a smile and a BIG hug! She had missed me...... a pagan in the eyes of the WTS. I have something the KH or the WTS doesn't have...... UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. I have something she wants. She knows I'm different.
In fact......I think I will call her now. Tell her how I haven't seen her in a couple of day.....that I have missed chatting with her.... listening to her..... that she's worthwhile and I am gonna stop by tomorrow where she works to check out for myself how she's doing.
