Borat: Dupe the locals

full disclosure, i have not seen this movie but i heard its really funny.. if this story is true (maybe its a spoof piece), the people who made borat are pretty cold...and greedy.

apparently the villagers who were used in the movie didn't understand that they would be portrayed as a backward group of rapists, abortionists and prostitutes, who happily engage in casual incest when they agreed to participate in the film.

they did get paid a few bucks, but it sounds like they are really pissed off.

I really need some advice

i want to contact my adult children and let them know i do love them.

they only 2 out of 4 called me and when they thought i would die from cancer wanted to get something.

Some of you know me and why I left the family and what my ex-wife did. I don't think some of them are in the borg. I have no hate or feelings negative I just want to talk or write to them. I thought I was strong but I guess not I can't stand not having my family.

I believe the society's literature for the most part is well written, I have always enjoyed the Awake, I always found the Watchtower boring. If you are not a freethinker and do not investigate something spoken or written but accept it blindly as truth even though it makes no logical sense, I can see why someone can be convinced of something, anything.

If the wts literature was not powerful explain why so many over the last 127 years have been persuaded to join and follow their dogma to the point of tearing up families, friendships some lifelong. Creating misery and yes death remember Malawi and the congress party card?

Do you think that Jehovah and Jesus should take some of the blame?

i truly love jehovah and jesus and no matter what i will always serve them, but sometimes i feel that jehovah and jesus are the blame for satan the devil getting totally out of control.

i just don't understand(and maybe never will) why jehovah and jesus have allowed satan and the demons to cause nothing but heartache for thousands and thousands of years.

people always talk about free will and that jehovah has a bigger plan ahead but why should people have to suffer misery in order to possibly gain happiness?

I think it depends on your belief system, if you accept the wts version of the challenge made in heaven to god regarding rulership of the earth and who has the right to rule it or Greek mythology or atheism or whatever, you need to find some balance that makes you comfortable and someday someone will be right.

they faded several years ago, much to her parents and her children's annoyance.

her parents live out west but were coming to toronto for a visit.

That is so typical of those morons! It's good she has you for a friend. I also get a pit in my gut when I hear about this crappy treatment all because of a few men at the top of the sh*t pile say to behave this way! No scriptural basis whatsoever! Her son must be a creep. Just my 5 cents

Please remember alcohol is a depressant so don't let too much of it control you. Remember you are a beautiful and wonderful person. Hang in there and once you are free of the grip of the wts and are free you will find true happiness.

Our Puppy did not make it.

well after going to bed early for it has been a long day i was awaken by my fourteen year old and she was crying for the vet just called and the puppy i got them two weeks ago just died.

the breeder was at an expo at city hall and they all gave me those "mom i am going to die if i don't have her" looks till i forked over money i did not have for this lil baby beagle.

we brought her home and i thought my she must be so tired for she slept a lot the first day.

Decki I am so sorry, animals are part of the family they give you unconditional love. Grieving and anger are normal. Keep your reciepts and call the breeder and ask for a refund. Was there any kind of papers that stated the puppys health? If so and even if not I would then tell them if they do not refund at least the purchase price of that sweet pup you will sue them in small claims court

after having read crisis of conscience and reading many posts and posting a few topics myself asking why the anger as i didn't understand.

i feel a sense of sadness for so many that have been so cruelly treated because of manmade dogma about shunning.

as a youth i was taught that the society encompased the true love that jesus taught and now i see how men in power have mutated that love into selfish power.

After having read Crisis of Conscience and reading many posts and posting a few topics myself asking why the anger as I didn't understand. I feel a sense of sadness for so many that have been so cruelly treated because of manmade dogma about shunning. As a youth I was taught that the society encompased the true love that Jesus taught and now I see how men in power have mutated that love into selfish power. May God have mercy on them for mistreating people who genuinly had or have a love for God and his mercy and in some cases have ripped God from their lives and hearts as well as Mothers, Fathers, Children and so forth. Thank-you to all of you here you have helped turn the lights on in my mind and heart. Now I can heal.
