I'm sure i need alot of self-improvement!! Since no one is perfect, i suspect just about everyone else does as well! I am currently working on one aspect of my life which does affect the way i behave and think about myself!!

Glad to know I am not the only one

because, as many people seem to, i find myself in that situation.
i am confused becuase the jw guy is not a very consistent jw in a lot of ways.

Girls help!!! What signs when a woman is interested in a guy?
by Spectrum ingenerally i find that if a girl is interested in me she makes it quite obvious by her actions and words.
i'm fine with this.
however there are times when a i really can't tell and this is the problem i'm grappling with at the moment.

being invited to a birthday party
by pitbull ini have been invited to a birthday party by a close friend.
should i go?is it not o.k to go?why should'nt i go?.where is it written in the jw religion that i should not attend my close friends party.
is this not a moral delema as oposed to a religous belief.

My JW boyfriend came to my sister's birthday party Sun. night, 4/30/06 and he really enjoyed hisself!! I gave everyone "seven people" a card that said a little something about my relationship with them which they really enjoyed! The one i gave my boyfriend said something about our seven year relationship!

I'm in love with a Jehovah Witness, Is it really a losing battle?
by icon ini have been reading all of the feed back for saddler and the others.
i too have been in a relationship with a jw for a little over a year.
i love her very much but all the abuse i have taken over the pass year from her elders, uncles, grandfather...etc has really taken it's toll on me.

I'm to am in love with a JW and i am not a JW! We have been in this relationship for the past seven years! He to sneaks around to see me and denies to anyone who dares to ask that we are in a relationship! About 1 1/2 years ago i told his family but not his church about us and they told him that if he continued to be with me they would shun him so he is still hiding me!!
I know what it is like to be in love with a lying, sneaking, selfish, good for nothing man who claims he is a good JW!!

JWs and relationship immaturity?
by jstalin inmy jw friend seems to be unusually immature when it comes to relationships and women.
i don't think he's ever had a serious relationship with a woman (he's 23).
he uses the terms "womens" when he speaks about women, and he uses the word "boobies.

I can only comment on how my boyfriend acts because he is still a JW! He also was raised in a strict family of JW's and because of the way they felt about sex a person can only go one of two ways when they get old enough and that is to go against the church or obey all the rules of their church!
My boyfriend choose to break many of his church's rule before and after his divorce because his parents/church was too strict!! I'm sure his church still has a strong hold on him because he still hides our relationship from EVERYONE in his life!! Also, he fears his family shunning him the worst!!

JWs as spouses for "worldly" people
by greendawn indo you think a jw man or woman would make a better spouse for someone compared to a "wordly" person?
not that many jws would want to marry non jws but it would be interesting to discuss such an issue to see what comes up.
some may argue that a jw spouse is more likely to be loyal and gentle but there are also many pitfalls with jws.

My boyfriend is an active JW and when he was married "not now tho" his wife was not a witness but she became one later in their marriage!! I can't help but think, what a waste because after all she did for him he ended up cheating on her many times in their relationship!! So she divorced his but!

i wonder if the saying is true - "a single woman gets home from work exhausted.
