Have you ever heard a doctor say,
"well when the bullet entered the scull, fortunately it hit the ninety percent of the brain we do not use"
the society has said many times that we only use 10% of our brains.
they use this assertion to claim that this is part of man's imperfection.. this article attempts to refute that claim.. .

Have you ever heard a doctor say,

It falls pretty early this time of year.
well, towards the end of 2007, my life is really basically very good !
i have a lot to be thankful for, a wonderful wife , great son , a good place to live in the mountains , and great animals on our property , a peaceful life .
just one big void still there in my life , my jw daughters have frozen me out of their lives .
I think it's a great idea.
I have used some of hassan's techniques on the dubs when they call on me, and once you become aware of the dual personality thing, it is easy to tell which "mode" the jw is in when they are talking to you.
The best you can hope for is a flash of the authentic personality coming through every now and then. They are usually very quick to swith back to the dub personality. But I consider every one a victory.
I had a sister calling on me for a while. One day she brought a bored, distracted, polite young brother with her (maybe 20). You could tell he wasn't really paying attention to our conversation. But at one point, I asked the question, "If the majority of mankind is displeasing to god, why did he create us that way?".
The sister said "he gave us freewill, and the majority choose to sin".
I said, "so why did he create us with the kind of freewill that makes the majority of us want to disobey?"
She had a couple of more twists on the "freewill makes it our fault crapola", and I just kept saying "so why did he create us that way".
At one point you could almost literally see a lightbulb go on over the bros head, he suddenly sat up staraight and looked at me and said, "wow, you've really thought about this haven't you!". For a moment you could actually see intelligence in his eyes, then after a moment the glazed look came over him again.
I consider that a victory, I doubt he will soon forget that "aha" moment.
It was an accumulation of those moments that got me out.
i find it absolutely hillarious how "bad people" (i.e.
gang members, prisoners, thieves, etc.
) are depicted on the cover of a watchtower.
If a woman is wearing pants in any of the illustrations,
you know she is a pawn of satan.
it is often difficult to see past the crass commercialism that is associated with christmas.
instead of buying one another presents, some families collect the money they would have spent on one another and donate it to a genuine charity to enable them to buy a donkey, a well, support for an orphaned child, or some other essential need for villagers in a struggling third world country.
doug
I'm giving goats for christmas.
a man five years older than me, good looking and had a car and some money!
i was barely 18.. it was a small wedding at my parents house.
christmas was the theme.
as you may have heard, the court of appeal has overturned three previous court decisions in my favour.
the lawsuit has been given the green light and is basically has remained intact almost exactly the way it started.
what are the odds of that happening?
