  Pastor Russell lay dying..

  pastor russell lay dying.. outside the sleeper car pampas, texas flatland spun by like a carnival ride.. fits of shivering and cramps wrenched his gut throughout the long night.

  the cup of hot tea at bedtime had soothed and left him drowsy.

  later, cramps took hold and wrung him out.. his spectacles lay carefully folded beside his bible like a dead spider.

  Some times one wonders if religious charlatans like Russell and Rutherford were really wanting to take down the other big religions

  as a means to push themselves onto the stage of public religious notoriety.

  Of course these guys did it by creating their own self devised false doctrines with that effort at hand..

  Some of the doctrines were also created to attract the publics attention as a supporting means for the proliferation of published literature,

  one should be confident in that as well.

  How the hell did Russell and his followers the IBSA, think that an Egyptian pyramid had anything to do with the

  ancient Hebrew religion and its teachings, is a still a shocking revelation of human ignorance, but goes to show what

  kind of culling interest one can accumulate when a man stands up on a podium with a bible in his hand.

  Come to think of it, I've see that myself at a few Kingdom Halls in the past.

  Attention: Active JWs who post videos on YouTube...

  ...specifically, those who tend to block the comments field:.

  if you are firmly convinced that you have the truthtm and that nothing anybody says can convince you that you really dont, why do you find it absolutely necessary to block anyone from posting their comments?.

  what you are doing, essentially, is preventing viewers from examining all the evidence as the bible clearly mandates in deu 18:20-22, 1 tes 5:21, 1 john 4: 1, etc.. so why not allow people to scrutinize all the comments and work out their own conclusions?

  They always end up blocking comments or discontinuing the blog when they were about to lose in the argument....

  Likewise as they do here, better to run with your beliefs rather than express a measure of intellectual honesty.

  The reason I suppose why intellectual honesty and religion are really incompatible with one and another.

  in the old days of carnivals, state fairs and such there was usually a person assigned to a booth who would "guess your weight".

  if they guessed wrong, then, you won a plush prize.

  if they got it right they kept the dollar they had charged you.. of course, either way they made a profit because those plush stuffed animal prizes were purchased from china for mere pennies.. but, more to the point..... .

A great deal of the Bible is written in symbolic language and it was quite appropriate that he should speak his last message in symbols.

  I know these words aren't yours Terry, but one can not come to the conclusion that the events of Russell dieng as being told

  in these writings were contrived bullshit equal to the man's expressed doctrines. I suppose it was enough for the flock of IBSA

  to illuminate what a great man he was, a righteously pretentious charlatan, faithfully devoted to his religious publishing house.

  Nice, sounds like a religion that enjoys doing things for others in helping people in need.

  The JWs on the other hand, help out in the distributing a bogus religious publishing company's literature.

  i'm surprised at how much is in the watchtower lately and at assemblies warning of apostates.

  is it my imagination or is this ramping up a lot lately.

  i am a born-in and stopped attending only a few years ago (now in my 40's) but don't remember so much anti-apostate warning as we see now.. the watchtower seems extra obsessed with apostates and the need to warn about them lately.

  The inter-net is doing a lot to expose the corruption of this fraudulent publishing house. ( WTS.)

  The GB are so aware of this they put out their own video a couple of years ago stating over and over that they are preaching the " Truth " !

  Common sense and intellect tells a story otherwise.

  The manipulation, exploitation and devious corruption is clearly seen by the public, something the inside JWS are starting to realize themselves.
