divorce
by luffy inhow would somebody argue the jw doctrine that a divorced person cannot remarry a jw unless "scripturally" divorced..ive looked through the bible scriptures on this and find it hard to argue the jw interpretation although i would be really grateful for any arguments against the jw interpretation on this that could hold water!!

where does their money come from??
by luffy inive read a number of times about the millions the watchtower are raking in tax free..since ive been led to believe that people are not charged for their magazines could somebody clarify this and explain where all this money comes from?

two witness rule
by luffy inwhat exactly is the two witness rule regarding the witnesses stance on child abuse?..am i right in thinking that this means that unless there are two witnesses to the child abuse, witnesses are forbidden to go to the police..surely this cannot be so twisted.

remarriage after divorce
by luffy indoes anyone know if after divorcing a spouse for reasons other than adultery, although adultery may be suspected, if i would be free to marry a witness if my ex spouse was in a relationship or remarried someone else after the divorce..ive heard different versions and am not sure

Another ?!
by luffy inim in the process of trying to get my boyfriend to see sense, as however much i try i can see no sense in the jws teachings as "christian"..ive got little over a week before he's baptised, but im not giving up that easily, especially after reading the stories on here..he says he wants to rescue me from a burning house..i say i want to rescue him from the hang mans noose..anyway was discussing with him earlier and i know i read somewhere in the bible something along the lines that we should let no man teach us, and read no other material that has been changed, apart from the bible, as god will teach us all things..i just cant remember the exact wording or where in the bible i read it..does someone know where that was...im still looking lol!

JWs Baptism
by luffy indoes anyone know the words used by the jws at baptism?..i know that matt:28 tells us of being baptised in the name of the father the son and the holy ghost, and have heard that jws actually pledge "allegiance" to the watchtower at baptism which i find crazy..is this true?.

by luffy inim a catholic who was married in a registry office, so in the eyes of the catholic church i was "never married"...how do the jehovahs witnesses view this and how would this affect my position on being able to remarry in their eyes?.

what are the chances he,ll stay?
by luffy inwhat are the chances a 55 year old protestant who has become caught up with the jws and is about to convert, will realise they are probably making the biggest mistake of their lives?..anybody known any converts or had any experience of this?

can a jehovahs witness marry a divorced non-witness?
by luffy inplz plz plz will somebody give me a clear cut answer, i know the problems involved but is it possible "legally" or as far as witnesses allow?
