New World or New System of Things

when i was in the borg, the phrase the wt used to call paradise was "the new system of things".
i've read a lot of posts on here and i've seen a lot of "new world" and i never see "the new system of things" phrase.

i've read a lot of posts on here and i've seen a lot of "new world" and i never see "the new system of things" phrase.

Hi everyone, i'm seeking clarification again. When I was in the borg, the phrase the Wt used to call paradise was "the new system of things". I've read a lot of posts on here and I've seen a lot of "New World" and I never see "the new system of things" phrase. So I take it the language has been changed to "New World"?
When and why did they do this? How did they do this? For the folks that were in at the time of this phrase change, what was the wts approach. Did they just slowly work the language in over a period of time or was it one week it was "new system of things" and the next week it was "new world"?

today i hung one proud and high on my front stoop.
i bought two of them - one will likely be hung in the back entrance area.

Are JWs still separating the sheep from the goats?
by *jeremiah* inback fourteen/ fifteen years ago now, this was a doctrine in place when i was still in the borg.
the field ministry was our "separating" work.
we as jws were separating the sheep from the goats if i remember correctly.

The main reason for our ministry was to "vindicate" Jehovah's name. That's been changed too.
what has it been changed to.
Sorry, I have been out of the loop now for about 14 yrs and I want to equip myself with the knowledge of what has changed since i've been out. Every once in a while, my mom(in the borg) contacts me to try to get me to come back, so I want to be able to tell her exactly what I believed in "the truth" that is no longer "truth".

Excerpt from The Watchtower article entitled "Taping alone- Does Jehovah appove?"
"...And you shall know them by their fruits". Jehovah encourages his people to never tape alone. Do not let yourselves be tempted. Brother Jenkins had a problem with taping boxes by himself when he was worldly, but since turning to Jehovah he has been able to overcome his problem. "Before coming to Jehovah, I could not stop taping boxes by myself. In fact, I never realized how detremental it was to my spirtuality. One day, during a home alone mid-taping session, two Jehovah's Witnesses knocked at my door, and shared with me Jehovah's plan to overcome such "conscience matters". They posed a question "Who is the only true religion that teaches people to not tape alone? I realized then that I had found the one true religion and to this very day with Jehovahs strength, I have never taped alone again."

you mentioned "around the time of the generation change", i'm sorry i'm so out of the loop. Are you referring to the 1914 generation? Did they change that too?
