Some never gave their heart & soul to JWdom anyway, or just a little, like dating someone but mutually broke off, wasn't working. But some of us gave our heart & soul, love, youth, much time, commitment, finances, like commitment of marriage. But later found that we were manipulated, used, lied to, & then this one damaged our reputation to a group called our friends. I have moved on from this WTS liar years ago and gained a good life but when we see it still going on,,abuse of more people, children, financial gain, isn't it right to speak out about the WTS reality to possibly spare at least some.

why do so many "non witness " jws not bother to find out the "truth"
by sosad inmy siblings who have left (3/7 last count) have no desire to talk about or hear about much less read about what the deal is witht the org our parents decided would bring them everlasting life.
it is head shaking to me - and i try not to bring it up at all- but when they ask, or it comes up and they are all freaked out about me being interested in it all i just shake my head.
even friends i grew up with in the org have no desire to know - they are just not interested.

Thanks Randy. Saw the clips there and now have ordered her book. So admire her courage and need to free her children and present them a better life. In cults, children pay the biggest price and not at their choice. A parent can give nothing better than unconditional love and freedom for their children to grow. It has always been so perplexing to me that that cult/township exists at all here in Arizona. The government doesn't seem to know what to do about it. I guess can only hope somehow it crumbles from within. As some 'escape' hopefully it gets some there to think and reconsider.

I raised 5 (2 daughters, 3 sons), their father abandoned us (he still professes JWdom). They are all grown now. All put themselves thru college, last one (1 1/2 yrs to go, putting himself thru on GI loan, via Marines/Iraq). The kids have some JW memories when young but none took to it, thankfully. I had to get rid of the the notion to be mom & dad,,I was reminded you can only be one person, can only do your best. The kids all had to work together to help, no whining, or fighting or we just wouldn't go anywhere. We were extremely busy in school & sports activities majorly, so they had to help & work together. When they were finally grown, then I started to date and married again, a wonderful man (never a JW). I am proud how we made it thru the rain and had a lot of fun anyway and mostly they have their own free minds and can still look back that they had a lot of fun in their youth and to see them quite close to each other as adults.

My brother when he was about 7. We (parents & 5 kids) were on a trip in station wagon of which he was in the way back with luggage in between,, stopped at the gas station, and about 5 minutes of back on the road finally was noticed he wasn't in the car.. The gas station owner told him he'd be okay and he could live on his farm with lots of horses and animals.. He was so disappointed we came back.

the life is hard to me
by zhangyigzcn inmore than two months i come back to china from germany, where i have stayed four years for study.
after graduation i went to home immediately in order to live with my family.
before leaving germany i got visit from jehovahs witness and started to study bible with them.but regrettably the study has continued only for few months.

So good you did 4 years of study,,was that college?,,what major?..Jehovah's Witnesses totally discourage college for its young people,,good for you to be with your family, if they are not Jehovah's Witnesses, you will totally be discouraged to be with your family unless they are JWs. Please study the whole facts of JWs through this website and hundreds of others with an investigative, analytical open-minded approach. The JWs seem to offer a form of hope but proves extremely false to that. They preach "soon" but proves very false to that but only will mind-control you. Communism may be unhopeful,,however, JWs offer no hope for your life now in reality. Continue to learn and continue to "think" for yourself and don't let anyone control your mind.

Why no warnings against "fading" in the literature?
by sir82 init has been pretty firmly established that the wts monitors ex-jw discussion boards generally, this one in particular.. on this forum and others, the strategy of "fading" is often discussed.
fading can be defined as gradually lessening one's activity in the congregation to the point where he virtually "disappears", becoming inactive & attending virtually no meetings.
thus, a more or less "normal" life can be achieved without the stigma and privations of disfellowshipping.. other ideas on how to get around the pain of disfellowshipping discussed on this type of forum have been discussed, if not in the literature, at least in boe letters.

The WTS refers to "inactive" ones all the time. They really don't know what to do with inactive ones too much. "Inactive" may be often considered for personal problems, but could be the beginning of "fader" = a "thinker." Either one, the WTS can't meet the challenge.

Could senility become a problem in he WT?
by badboy inespecially as the population ages,so he congregations might also age.
-
Gayle
Now that the door is open for newly anointed being okay and also now that the 144,000 in heaven can direct even those with the earthly hope, younger ones can be chosen to do the directing. The old senile ones will just be ignored, put away as is already being done.

What do men of power want?
by Lady Lee inwhen i first starting learning the real truth about the wts i could not figure out why.
why did they make rules where some people died and others could makes bribes?
why did rutherford try to become bedfellows with hitler of all people?
-
Gayle
They want unquestioning obedience. They've learned once they can fool perhaps only a minority of people, they can still keep doing and doing it and doing it, all the time.
