well, I agree with the pepper spray, if it's legal in your city. Now that you have called the police and his violent behavior is on record, keep calling the police each time he acts out. Keeping as calm as possible and always always making sure he suffers some consequences to his behavior will help. I wonder why your grandmother didn't divorce him years ago?

I called the police.
by LouBelle ini stay at my grandmother's house and pay a little rent to her (r500) as it is all i can afford.
i do however buy and take care of all my own food, washing etc.. this morning at 6 am, my bedroom door opend, slammed shut, heard the key turn a couple of times, open and slam shut again.
i woke up with a fright as that has never happened....first thought is someone is in the house.

I love the books, reread them every few years. What a sense of humor he had. The last book wasn't as funny/witty/sharp, though. I wonder if he was feeling ill when he wrote it? He died awfully young.

And I got really pissed off that the clue was "wrong." Turns out that, as usual, I was wrong.

I just had a thought that made me feel so much better about this fade...
by sosoconfused inthis is not monumental... i am sure all of you think it all the time.. but as a 3rd gen born-in ex-elder ex-pioneer ex-bethelite i spent so much time in this relion believing that for some reason that god, who loves all humans and created all things only wanted a few people to get knowledge of him - and this small group in america was his choice.. .
now as i said i am sure 99% of you probably came to that realization before and it is common sense, but the very fact that as a grown man i never really thought about this for more than 15 seconds.
the whole idea is just ridiculous and freaking stupid.

I know the wtbts is often called Victorian and 19th-century, but this JC crap reminds more more of McCarthyism. Wikipedia's definition of McCarthyism:
McCarthyism is the practice of making accusations of disloyalty, subversion, or treason without proper regard for evidence. It also means "the practice of making unfair allegations or using unfair investigative techniques, especially in order to restrict dissent or political criticism.
That was during the Red Scare years in the 1950s. You use a bogeyman like "commies" or "apostates" to label people as traitors and then attack them with judicial hearings.

stomach issues getting worse
by StopTheTears ini have not been able to post for a while due to my health issues.
i am in need of prayers because i am still having problems with diarrhea and very bad stomach cramps every single day that will not go away and my gastro doctor has taken me through stool tests and x-ray tests and cannot find out what is causing the diarrhea at all and i have been crying because the diarrhea is very bothersome.
i also need some prayers because i really need to know someone that has gone through the rny gastric bypass surgery and has had their gall bladder removed because i have a lot of questions.

I'm sorry you feel so awful and I hope you feel better soon. I don't have anything to add to the advice already given. I like the idea of a food diary, though, keeping track of what you eat, and how much and when, and recording the episodes of pain and diahrrea to see whether you can find some connection.
