  Does anybody think the WBTS will ever 'ban' the internet?

  lets face it the wbts have an ever increasing fear & paranoia of x-jw websites like this forum where the wbts is exposed for all its dodgy business and people can find out things about the goings on with its members, its leaders & embarassing history of cock ups.

  one day in a desperate attempt to put a tighter control on this they might make it an official 'ungodly act' to go online and put it in the same category as a 'secret sin' such as smoking or watching porn films.. any opinions on this anybody???.

  I think its far more likely they will emphasize monitoring each other on the net. Pushing parents and spouses to snoop on what their loved ones are doing online and report it to the elders. That way they can strike terror into the j dubs by d'fing people caught looking at ex jw sites and porn etc.

  I agree with sweetstuff, they will have family and friends "police" others. The r&f will be afraid of being turned into the elders, just like now. Your wife/husband anyone will turn you in if are suspected of "wrong doing'.

  Swiffers Do you use one?

  i have one and use it for both wet and dry.

  it gets pricey since you have to keep buying the cloths.. a couple of weeks ago i was in sears and they were having a demonstration of a swiffer type mop but you didn't have to throw awy the cloths.

  simply remove from the cloth and throw it in the washer.

  I love my swiffer, I use the duster the mop and the sweeper! I'll have to try the mirco fiber clothes!

  JW's are able to give gifts anytime, not just holidays, BUT DO THEY?

  My parents favorite thing to say "you don't have to wait till christmas or birthday to get a gift", "you can get them all year". Well I'm here to tell you that we never got them at all!

  So no, I didn't feel special all year long or any other time for that matter!

  And I don't know of any JW's personally that give or get gifts for no reason. The only time I've observed gifts being given is Wedding and baby showers!

  we are sorry that we were narcissistic wannabe misionaries and that by "putting the kingdom first" we were really putting our personal goals first and never once factored you into the equation.

  They don't have to apologize for the past. If they could just accept me for who I am, love me because they love me not because of what I do or do not do. If they could appreciate the wife, mother and overall person that I've become despite the childhood I had and the parenting I received that would be enough.

  I have been the parent to my children that i did not have. I love and respect my children, I don't judge them, I don't hold them back. I encourage them to do whatever it is they desire, to become whatever it is they want to be and I give them 100% support in whatever that is they choose. I hug them, I tell them I love them, I laugh with them. When they have a friend that is going through something I listen to them and I give them advise on how they can help their friend. When they have a problem, I listen first then I try to help them through it.

  So from my parents, I have more than they will ever have. I have peace knowing that I have raised happy well adjusted and much loved sons!

  cross your fingers for me

  as some of you know but others don't i have been suffering from nerve pain in my feet for the last 4 years.

  the pain has put me in a wheelchair and the medications have been less than promising.

  it helped destroy my second marriage and put me on disability.

  I really hope this medication works for you, and you are right if you are on a low dose you have room to increase it!

  Just found out my dog has cancer

  two types of cancer in both her upper and lower jaws.

  melanoma in the top jaw, squamous cell carcinoma in the lower.

  both are bad cancers.
