  Shocker!!!---leading up to my plan

  well folks, i started writing a big post and then the keyboard acted up on me, so i lost everything i was saying.

  first of all amanda was right, this isnt anything i can just walk away from, it is'nt something that i can just put behind me and move on.

  this involves my sexuality and my childhood experience growing up in the jw cult.

  Do you ever just feel like crying?

  tonite was one of those nights.

  the stress of the last month or so just finally got to me.

  Anewme says it very well. One very important word there is communication. Anewme, you sound like someone I knew when I was a JW. A young lady I had a crush on went through her first marriage just like that.

  Why were my parents against dating and having anything to do with girls?

  i'm dating 2 girls right now and i'm trying to build a relationship with either, just seeing where i land, but i don't know if i can be romantic.

  asking a girl out is no problem, thats become easy, but actually getting intimate with them is hard for me because i don't want to be accussed of harrassment or something silly.

  i want to blame it on the fact that i don't have experience and that i'm just doing this late.

  Tsunami; I was just like you when I was 19. Looking back, and I have done that many times in 30 years, I feel I have shown a great deal of respect to the few I dated. Those short relationships, never having been intimate, would end without the added giult. That might be embarrasing to a young man, but when I got older I felt somewhat proud hearing how many woman felt greatly disrespected when they were young.

  I found the names of two JWs posted on the internet on three reunion sites. One of them posted as single interested in dating and they are married for many years now.

  I have been living in an area that's supposed to be canvased by the Haverhill, Ma. congregation for five years now and the JWs have been here once. I don't know if it's from a reduced number of ministerial slaves, falsifications on their service reports or economic issues, but when the WTBST realizes this, I think they will change there stance, exploit the internet and begin using it as a tool so they can continue being fishers of men.

  This might be more than a theory. Mother nature always tries to find a way to combat things that try to destroy her. We the baby boomers of 1956 gave her new avenues to use in her efforts. We combat that with a reaction. The future may be worse than we can imagine.

  i have been lurking for quite some time now on jwd.

  my story is pretty much just like everyone else's, "only the names have been changed".

  The act of shunning family, I believe, never seemed to be something a God or Jehovah wanted people to do. I think it is a policy created by men(WTBST) to inflict giult on those that chose to leave the servitude of the WTBST.
