The elders who are best at manipulating shepharding their congregation, they can sell ice to the eskimoes explain the scriptures in a manner that makes it difficult to question easier for his congregation to grasp and understand. They are well off financially humble servants who are always looking out for what best for the WTS their congregation.

The best WT elders are

such an elder who has his own conscience and is troubled by it does not make the best wt elder.

JW children - conditionally loved?

in many cases if they choose not to their parents essentially "disfellowship" them.
so a lot of children get baptized under pressure from the parents and when they fail to live the jw life and get df'd the folks are the harshest shunners.

I would have to say yes. It's always been a sticking point for me, how can anyone put others in front of their own child? To me nothing and no-one should come before your kids, they should always be your no. 1 priority. I've seen a lot of (at least seemingly) loving parents drop their kids like a hot potato the second they indicate they want to leave the dubs. I always thought 'this is one powerful cult when they can manipulate their members to this extent'.

OMG! It's Jehovah's war and he dosen't even get to do the judging anymore! That's gotta suck...
Do they even worship Jehovah anymore? Or just the WTS and their local elders? That's warped, even by dub standards!

Why do JWs take vacations....?

Will the wonders of the world still be there in the new system? I mean with all the fire and sulphar raining down from heaven and the general destruction at armaegeddon they're gonna be left with one hell of a mess to clean. Maybe they want to look at them now still intact so they can tell their children in the new system about the 'good old days' when the Sydney Harbour Bridge existed or before Mt Rushmore was destroyed, when Ayers Rock was still a rock and not one giant pile of rubble....
