  When you were a dub, did you shun DF/DA'd people?

  actually, in my 14 years as a dub, it only came up with one person in our cong.

  who got pregnant out of wedlock (and used drugs during pregnancy).

  she was df'd but still came to most meetings.

  As for me, I live a few thousand km's from the closest kh I ever attended, none of the dubs up here know I was ever one of them.

  ok, this is a fun thread inspired by my recent news that i can now tell my boss "i quit" as i have another job elsewhere (doesn't start for 3 weeks though) .

  it could be an actual experience, or it could be something you make up.

  think of the worst boss/job you ever had and the most fun way you can think of to tell him/her "i quit!".

  when i look around at all the people in the world, i'm comforted to know that jehovah will soon destroy them.. i'm talking about people that don't attend our encouraging christian meetings.

  Yes, yes! Just think: We are 24 hours closer to the Great Day of God the Almighty than what we were this time yesterday! It should warm all of our hearts when we realize how close we are to seeing Zechariah 14:12 fulfilled:

  "....There will be a rotting away of one’s flesh, while one is standing upon one’s feet; and one’s very eyes will rot away in their sockets, and one’s very tongue will rot away in one’s mouth...."

  Isn't it wonderful how our loving father jehovah is allowing more time to provide more food for the vultures? I would sure hate to see them starve. We should be asking ourselves, is 60 hours of field service enough? I think I should be doing more...
