  JUST GOT BACK FROM MARCH.

  in jdub days coming home from the coventions the car discussion would always ask "what are you taking home with you from the convention"- meaning what part did i like or how was i encouraged.

  to be honest, answering that question has always been a struggle.

  i asked myself this question as i sat in traffic for 2hrs on my way home from the march.

  a friend at the march, just called me to tell me how the march is going.

  it's not raining and hasn't rained!!

  nearly 3 hours into it, and it is still going.

  A hundred ... I was of the understanding there would be around a couple of dozen and whole lot of symbolic lambs.

  Considering the coverage of the shinanigans in DC, it's a wonder news teams took the time to show up at all in Brooklyn.

  Any Writers out There?

  who of you are writers out there?.

  since being a child, people have responded positively to my writing.

  i've written countless items of poetry, but never let them out into the public domain.

  How do you know what you write is any good?

  A possible hint would be when a reputable publisher begins to send you lots and lots of money for some of the manuscripts youve been sending them over all those years.

  ok. i'm not so sure i'll convey my thoughts in a conherent manner, but here goes.... tonight my daugher-in-law told me that i'm the most positive people she knows.

  that my husband and i not only think about what we want, but we get it.

  the only thing i could think to mention was "visialization.

  Now, I struggle with the self esteem issues often. I know that somehow things do work out accordingly, but when someone actually tells me they think I'm a positive person, encouraging, and manage to get what is wanted...it sorta scares me.

  Gran', your thoughts immediately reminded me of this book...almost any public library should have it.

  i've been lurking about, checking out some of the evidence against the wtbs.

  i am currently inactive but still an approved/baptized member.

  i have seen all the 1914/607bce evidence; the blood transfusion quandry evidence; the current child abuse problem evidence and several other things that are damning to the wt doctrines.

  Very Bad News Re: Post Yesterday

  i'm not sure how to put this news gently to the community here, but regarding my post yesterday regarding chantelle.. thankyou for all of your kind messages and warmth displayed on your parts.. chantelle was only 16 when disfellowshipped.

  only 18 years old with her whole life in front of her.

  she took her own life this morning at 0400hrs.. i am so sorry not to have been in a better position to get your letters to her in time.. take care all of you & kindest regards.

  Mark, would it be appropriate to get a 'snap-shot' of this young persons short life. She must not be forgotten, as I suspect some would rather she was.

  Devil's appearance in WT literature

  i just got the october 15th 2002 issue of the watchtower magazine.

  on pages 8 and 9 we see a caption reading " jesus firmly opposed the devil".

  jesus is standing there pointing at a slouching, hooded man.

  In Jehovah's world, a 'devil' doesn't necessarily need to be seen as a grotesque, hooded figure.

  Satan can be easily depicted in His publications as any object the organization chooses for best immediate effect, such as a successful, but rather crazed looking individual sitting with a laptop display opened to an on-line discussion group.

  Regardless of how this trial concludes and after the object of Vicki's demise returns to its free pursuit of business as usual, if necessary has there been any thought given for Vickis recovery from this brutal foray?

  i was outraged when i read what a friend of ours was given him by 2 jws yesterday when he asked them the question about the child molestation issue.

  i can't belive the jws have the guts to pass this stuff out.

  the people we were with at lunch today all looked at it and was replused at the wt's reply.. what do you think?.

  They (the people we were talking with) were shocked at the things the wtbts said. And they said, "they (wtbts) had the nerve to quote the bible!"

  Joy, Im interested to know, did you hand the roll of Watchtower Charmin to them and allow them to read and comment without previously influencing their thought process?

  And of those reading the WTBTS infomercial, how astute were they as critical thinkers, in your opinion?
