  barbara anderson has just released a new book on cd that contains some 5000 pages of public court records from the nine lawsuits involving 16 victims that the wts settled secretly in may of this year, plus documents from two other cases the society settled in 2000 and 2006.. .

  its called secrets of pedophilia in an american religion: jehovahs witnesses in crisis.. .

  I want to applaud Barbara Anderson for presenting this book to the world! I can't wait to get it! And I can't wait to have someone call on me when I do have it! Thank you Barbara

  While browsing around last night, I found a link to Randy Tv http://www.randytv.com/media.htm and listened to the interview with Carl and Barbara Pandelo: A Conspiracy of Silence. The interview was maddening, heartwrenching, but full of strength. I honor anyone who has the strength to stand up to the organization in bringing attention to this long and painful legacy of abuse ignored by the Watchtower Headquarters.

  I also listened to another interview on pedophila with J.R. Brown a watchtower media spokesperson that can be found on the same link, and was disgusted throughout the entire interview listening to him. I visualized a snake, while he went on and on making it sound like they have always handled the issue of abuse well. It is also very worthwhile listening too.

  Once again.. to all who aided in this book.. and to Barbara.. a very warm and grateful hug.. thanking you for presenting this book!

  Jws working my neighborhood...

  and i missed them again.

  last time i saw them walking down the other side of my street.

  today they stopped by when i was out and i missed them by about ten or twenty minutes and no they didn't leave any mags.

  me and a friend got there around 5:15, got our tickets and then kicked back, had a few beers and taco bell.. he friggin' rocked.

  i got an email inviting me to join a "christian witness" group of apparently christian-oriented x-jws.

  like many of you here, i no longer have any desire to be involved with anything even remotely approaching organized religion.

  my concern in receiving this email is that someone apparently either thought or hoped i did, and as a consequence, provided my email address to someone i don't know without my knowledge or permission.

  (((Hugs CoCo))) I know nothing of JWD sheparding calls, but I wanted to just send comfort for the obvious pain you are feeling. I recognized your sadness in a very recent post, and wished to say something there, but didn't want to change the topic of the post. It's so hard to be in limbo like you are describing, and I hope you can come to some inner peace.

  when you've tried living life with a handicap you never realised was there for a long time, and when you did you denied it the chance to get the better of you - you tend to get down and depressed.

  it took a thread from our brave crumpet and help from some special friends here to make me go to the doctor and get some help.. you see, my symptoms were similar to crumpets if not nearly exactly the same.

  i too suffer from bipolar disorder, the doctor agrees and i agree.

  Thank you for sharing where you are in life right now, I am so warmed and encouraged by all the postings here that are so completley open and honest.

  It is great that you have found someone to work with, who is genuinely caring and supportive of you. Mental health issues are tough to deal with, but with support they can be overcome.

  It is lovely your doctor prayed with you, as it brings you comfort.

  i am watching fox news, .

  and i am sorry i do not have the details, but, in this particular county, they are extending how close a sex offender can live to a school, daycare, etc, from 1,000 feet to 2,000 feet.

  of course the people that the outer circle is being moved to do not want this.

  When it comes to children who offend, I am unsure as to what to do with them. I imagine a child who does so, is reinacting a bad experience they have had and can be healed. When it comes to an adult though, I have no sympathy. Yes they are sick, but they also know what they are doing is wrong.

  There are many people in our society who have been horribly harmed and scarred from abuses, sexual, physical, mental, ect.. who do not go on to perpetrate the same experience onto others. Those that do, know the damages from their own experience, therefore should find that abusing another is evil and wrong.

  These ones should be punished and not be allowed to live in our neighborhoods to reoffend again. If there were stricter and harsher penalties to those that do abuse like this, I do believe there would be less offenders in the world.
