  Witness 007 returns to wife and meetings..I give up! Sorry no choice!

  my wife's been having mental problems since hurting her back at work...we split for 8 weeks {her doing} then she rings me and says she "can't cope and is lonely" so i return {the drama continues} she seems more stable, sleeping all night...what a change!

  her mood had become alittle more stable.

  she found a part time job, and has not been dragged off by security like her last job...much improved though she dropped 10 kilos in weight.

  am going back as well after being away for several years. My children need the discipline and this is and religion is an excellent way for them to get it. My NOT going has actually stiffiled my family's growth. I know of the false teachings, but I accept the lies :-)

  i saw losch at two assemblies and he struck me as the quintessential hardline prick.

  i don't know anything about internal gb politics (who does?

  ), but if this guy were to assume an informal leadership role, the watchtower would swiftly take a swift turn down hardline road.

  I called my mom.

  after more than 20yrs without a relationship....after more than 5yrs without hearing a word from her, i called.. out of the blue, i just called.. me: hi, mom, it's me lisa.

  mom: oh, hi.. me: well, it's been a long time, i just wanted to check and see how you and dad were.. mom: we're fine.. the conversation ranged from, the weather, my husband, my children and grandchildren, (whom she's never met) my animals, gardening.

  we talked about how dad was doing now, (after a stroke) how he walks with a cane, and uses an electric wheel chair when they go to walmart.

  5 Years! Lisa I feel for you, I really do. Personally I wouldn't call them. I would never ever do that to my daughter, period.

  But you have to do what you feel is best.

  We Don't Want to Know Why You're Leaving

  our exit from the watch tower society was fairly speedy.

  within about 3 months, we'd ceased attending meetings and lost all of our friends (apart from hobo ken and his wife).. what was shocking - and only confirmed that we were right to leave - was how our decision was met by our so-called friends.. we were leaving behind people whom we'd enjoyed friendship for over 20 years.

  we were leaving behind friends who were closer to us than our own families were.

  I found old letters from a girl I loved....

  i was cleaning up my room and i found letters from a girl i loved.

  although she was leaving in a scandinavian country she was so warm and cute....but it was my fault that this affair didn't continue.

  then i realize that this love was fake.

  I think it depends on the person. I married a girl in the WT and we both left and we are still married and in love. So it does happen.

  just to let everyone on here who knows my dad, that he is seriously ill, and unfortunately on life support.

  he has renal and respiratory failure as a result of the quickest onset of pneumonia i have ever seen... it came on in the early hours of this morning.

  he is waiting for an intensive care bed but the nearest one is 200 miles away.
