  i can remember about 2 years before i exited the org i had a terrible dilema which didn't really have anything to do with my doubts in relation to doctrine.. the problem was hearing over and over and over about the fact that being in the org was 'the best place to be'.

  that the brothers were 'true friends'.

  didn't they have a video out called 'ypa - how can i make real friends?'.

  i would like to say hello and introduce myself.

  i have read this forum for a while, didnt know that it existed till some one showed me it, (fellow rebel) about a year ago.

  now the only way that i will get help is to go into it, something i really dont wish to do but know that i have to.

  Suffering is the tool the creator put in us to instruct us to continue clearing space for his realization within us.

  In other words , now that some of trash has been taken out continue removing the rest of it so you can see that God is waiting inside you, for you to notice him,

  Suffering and pain instruct us that we are/were resisting acceptence of the truth of our nature. We are of God already, always have and always will be, just stop for a minute all your doing and going and having and LOOK within and when you do you will find God looking back at you.

  Society in general is a cult. Religion is just a reflection of the cultish mentality of the world in general . You must be a member to succede, you must abide by what society dictates or you will suffer , You follow what I'm saying?

  Religion is just the customs of a culture, and a social club for the most part, a serious student of the truth will most likely be found doing research and not practicing DOGMA, but instead treats all beliefs as valued treasures and lovingly extracts the worth of each. No hating , no exclusivness , no isolationist mentality.

  Not all religions are cults , some are actually gaining understanding of the will of the creator, But most are just pissing in the wind.

  I know why the suffering comes, it's for thr learning sir. The ways of pain and strife are the lessons we all fear and dread.

  Running from the truth of our existence , the truth we hold inside,is the cause of all the pain sir.

  If we could only look in there and see what God put in us ,the world wouldn't hurt no more , sir.

  It's the fear, the fear of what we'll find, thats the cause ,,,,sir.

  Do you ever get nausea when encountering JW stuff

  i thought after 7 years out i had done a pretty good job of getting my mind free of the jws.. then yesterday i went on youtube and typed in jehovah's witness.

  after watching a few apostate videos, i came across a pro-jw video of a convention.

  as i started the video and they started singing "we thank you jehovah" i got a mega wave of nausea and felt like i had to switch the thing off.. has this happened to you?

  anyone done some research to refute the handful of anti-gay verses in the bible?

  i've done a bit of research on the net.

  i don't have the links handy, but most of them centered around the assertion that the original words in those passages were mis-translated.

  Don't let a mere book tell you about God . Religions are an invention man made up about 2000-2500 years ago on a large scale to bring some solace to his ignorance.

  God is inside you and me right now , no need to look anywhere else. Look inside and ask God what God says about being gay and I'm sure he'll tell you the truth.

  If you look to a BOOK you are asking the opinion of MAN, not God.

  The ultimate truth can not be expressed in a book it can only be experienced by the individual, the best a book can do is point in the direction of the truth , it is completely dependant upon the individual to discover that truth , and it is indeed discoverable if one is dilligent.

  The message of truth in the Bible is obscured and nearly impossible to discern , poloticians , theocrats and kings all had thier way with the Bible and simply picked what they wished to put in it

  Every time I see JWisms being spread like a fungus on my screen, I get this pit of nausua in my stomach that has a life of it's own. All the darkness in the heart of man is present in the cold and twisted reality of the practicing Jdubs mind. (sorry for being so melodramatic it is getting close to halloween you know) Not much scarier than a fanatical religious zeolot.

  I'm placing a Climax book with my new therapist

  yep, oompa started today with a new therapist who of course wanted to know if i had anything in particular that was the cause of me seeking his service.

  so i kinda gave him a jwcult for dummy therapists cliffnotes version, and he seemed like he just couldn't believe some of it.

  he understands my awakening has been difficult for me and the stress it has put on my wife and marriage/family.
