the wording was that jw take transfusions of fractions.. i don't see anything in the english km.
did this info come from some other country?

Now Some Witnesses Are Buying Backpacks To Get Ready For The Great Tribulation!
by minimus insome witnesses are making sure they're ready for the great day.
i've heard certain family members are getting supplies ready including 5 gallons of water, cans of food that can be opened without a can opener, and other "survival" stuff.
they have figured that since the awake (i think) reported how the "friends" got ready for hurricane katrina, they too must be ready for survival when the storm of armageddon rains down.. what will they think of next?.

Back in the early 60's some zealous (if slightly crazy), end time Witness "brothers" in the Minneapolis Minnesota area, bought a huge military surplus trailered electric generator to use to power the Southdale shopping mall so the Watch Tower Publishing Corporation volunteers had a place to go that had electric service after Armageddon. These guys were as serious as a mosquito in a nudist camp.
I'm still having giggle spells when I think about them. -

Ever have something weird happen in meeting, with APOSTATES!

i always hated this talk and the elder giving it always seemed uneasy with such a bold topic in a mixed age group.
well, right in the middle of the talk, this woman stood up and asked "so, are you saying oral sex is wrong?

by badboy inwith decisions by bankers etc bringing down financial systems, other situations decisions have had wie ranging consequences makes one wonder if a single decision could bring things down.

Letting go, does it really ever happen as an X- JW?
by restrangled ini have been here over 2 years, some of you for many more.
i come and go with postings.
there are so many fighting history with current marriages to jw's, time put in as elders or what ever title you held.. some of us grew up in the worst possible time period,....description is not always possible here.. sometimes i feel we can;'t get beyond it.....we just keep talking about... is that bad or is that ok?.

I remember reading somewhere that what doesn't kill us makes us stronger. I'm not sure I'm stronger, but I believe there's a chance my bull s**t detectors might be honed to a razor edge.
I think I realized I had accepted my Witness history and the relationships that went with that period when I quit trying to change those relationships. I'm not visiting those subjects in my mind in either busy or quiet times. The first Witness relatives to shun and snub me started 17 years ago. I would not welcome contact from those people at this time. They've proven to be defective in character in a way I'm not interested in visiting again.
I've accepted my mortality without regret. I did begin pragmatic management of my family's finances at a pretty early age so we don't have the issue of financial insecurity in our old age unless extremely bad luck befalls us. I've come to realize that security is health, not money, and that success is having friends. In that context, I'm secure and successful:-) -

Have you ever seen the booklet "Taking pictures for WT publications"?
by BonaFide ini saw it when i was at bethel in new york after i graduated from mts.
it says that pictures should be in good taste, taking into consideration other cultures.
bethelites should be used for photos, or a local family with their children may be used if they are approved by the congregation service committee.

My sister called! I've written her a letter...
by Confession ini was working in corpus christi this past weekend, when my sister called out of the blue on sunday.
she, like the rest of my family, is a very zealous jw, and since i am recognized as an apostate, i haven't seen nor spoken to her in about four years.
i was completely shocked that she called.
