1/ adam and eve f*#ked up - ate from a tree that shouldn't have been put near them.

2/ israel were god's nation but continually failed to live up to 100's of perfect law's.so they f*#ked up too, corz' they werent perfect.

3/ jesus came to the earth, didn't like the religions here, so started his own - gutsy bloke, would like to have a beer with him.

On what occasions do JW's give undue 'worship' to humans?

we all know their crazy reasoning on the matter.

Advice to Lurking Newbies?

i was thinking about how it's a shame that all our potential newbies, who are undoubtedly still visiting for the first time and reading, aren't able to register and ask for everyone's help and advice with things they are experiencing right now.. so, if you had a few words of wisdom, encouragement, advice, what would it be?.

i have a feeling someone i once knew may be watching...... my advice would be:-.

don't be afraid.. if truth is truth it will stand, if it is false it will fall.. you are among friends who will not judge or condemn you for daring to use your brain, open your mind and ask questions.

this has been working for me well in talking with family and friends about "the truth.".

1. before you bring up a topic, talk about how we are allowed to ask questions, and we are encouraged to do so.

i have tried saying, "one thing i like about the organization is that it encourages us to use our minds, and we don't get into trouble for asking questions, the organization loves questions like the ancient bereans did.. 2. always phrase things in the form of a question.

ap [enlarge photo]us investigators say they have solved the mystery of the collapse of world trade centre building seven in the september 11 attacks.. the 47 storey trapezoid sat north of the world trade centre towers, across vesey street in new york city's lower manhattan.. on september 11, it was set on fire by falling debris from the burning towers, but sceptics have long argued that fire and debris alone should not have brought down such a big steel and concrete structure.. scientists with the national institute of standards and technology say their three year investigation of the collapse determined the demise of wtc seven was actually the first time in the world a fire caused the total failure of a skyscraper.. "the reason for the collapse of world trade centre seven is no longer a mystery," said dr shyam sunder, the lead investigator on the team.. investigators also concluded that the collapse of the nearby towers broke the city water main, leaving the sprinkler system in the bottom half of the building without water.. the building has been the subject of a wide range of conspiracy theories for the last seven years, partly because the collapse occurred about seven hours after the twin towers came down.
