i have asked it in a private discussion with a fundamentalist who cowardly ignored the whole premise of the thought and am hoping there is someone here who can address it.. i am aware of the fact that abortion is one hot button topic.

it is not my intention to make this a debate about abortion.

Democrats don't want anyone to be born -- what with abortion and birth control etc. But if you actually manage to be born, they'll make sure you're taken care of for the rest of your life.

Republicans want everyone to be born, as long as you promise not to live long enough to collect on your Social Security.

i have allways thought that the single greatest asset the jws have is the nickname "the truth".. trying to get through to our freinds and parents the sickening facts about "the truth", we are constantly stymied.

by the sentence "i still beleive its the truth".. this is the equialent of calling your law firm "the honest ones".

or your shop, "the best".. only better, much better.. jws mistake a concept, "truth" with "the truth".

What if?- A sobering Thought!

has anyone ever pondered over the two scripture's at matthew 25: 31, 32 and daniel 12:1?

the first tells us that the son of man is "sitting down" ... and that then a "separating" work begins.

then in daniel 12:1 it tells us that when michael "stands up" a great time of trouble ensues.. do you think it's possible he is not yet "standing up?

below is a scanned article from the august 22, 1967 awake!

magazine that deals with women and why they don't hold positions of authority in the wachtower.

metatron brought this subject up a few months ago and someone was nice enough to give me the actual article.

The whole article is insulting, but the brain size thing just takes the cake. Anyone who deals with parrots or crows knows that brain size doesn't correspond directly with intelligence; "bird brain" is an unfair insult to birds. And lots of animals with huge brains aren't nearly as intelligent as humans.

Some people just enjoy breaking things, painting graffiti, poking caged animals with sticks, and pushing emotional buttons to see the results. These people are "trolls".

Trolling has an opportunity cost ... not to mention the "boy who cried wolf" effect. Personally, I know I won't take Rex as seriously as I might have.
