Arrrrgggg! I'm PISSED!

messenger.
when i put the username on "ignore" the person increments the username-number by one and sends another message.. this has been going on for the last few days.. [>:(][>:(][>:(][>:(][>:(].

Britain Top Man In Europe
by Englishman inas 12 european countries, including the dominant german and french communities, prepare for the introduction of the euro, great britain stands pretty well alone in witholding the sacrifice of it's currency.. january 1, 2002, sees the complete ending of the mark, franc, escudo, peseta, drachma and other currencies as most of europe chooses to totally adopt the new monetary system, the euro.. britain has come in for a welter of criticism for holding back from joining the rest of europe until it deems that the time is right.. recent figures now show that britain has the highest gdp in europe, trailing only behind the usa and japan worldwide.
the foretold recession is also reckoned to miss britain, a growth of 2 - 3% holding up the economy.. a recent survey shows that the british now spend almost 21% of their income on leisure activities, whereas the rest of europe manage an average of about 12%.. is this a good time to be british?
maybe so, if recession hammers into the us and japan it could well be the best country in the world to live in once more.. englishman.. bring on the dancing girls!

These things take time and especially for some countries. Adopting metric system you were allowed more than a century but that was not quite enough. I quote: "On the 6th August 1897 ..... Parliament passed the Weights and Measures (Metric System) Act, 1897 (60 & 61 Vict., Cap. 46)." Judging the acceptance metric received I would have been most astonished if Euro could have accepted in less than a hundred years.

Trying Not To Peep..
by Englishman inas we now have our central heating boiler installed in our old fireplace, i have been getting more than a little worried as to exactly how santa will come down the chimney so as to leave me with lots of nice prezzies.
its also been complicated getting my prezzy list to him as i normally send this up the chimney about a week before christmas day.. her ladyship came to the rescue and suggested that i pin my prezzy request list to the communal notice board in the dining room, so i took my pen and wrote: .

Santa is not well as his Santa Park (or what they call it) have had Near Bankrupty Syndrome for few years now. But thanks for those parents from abroad that just these days fly in and out Rovaniemi airport Santa is steadily gaining balance. Planes are packed with children and their parents who demand these children to practise honesty. I envy these parents if they are not bothered at all when lying their children about Santa.

What is "zynism"?
by Nathan Natas inerich has used the term "zynism" a couple of times in some of his more recent posts, and i do not know what "zynism" is.
after doing some research, the only references to it that i could find were in german, which is one of the many languages in which i am not fluent.. would someone post a little synopsis of zynism, complete with photos and diagrams with circles and arrows and margin notes?.

I have to admit that this is far from what I foolishly enough waited in my younghood as a JW. I might even contemplate we already have passed the majuscule A. In that case I am satisfied with the present situation and do not believe in the shiny future pictures published by the borg.

More than 30 years ago I tipped off the conductor of the finnish WT-study that there is a passage that is not translated properly and that I had notified local BO (body odour eh?). The sunday came along and at that particular question I did not raise my hand. Yet I was pointed to answer. I said that quoting what was printed on our "Vartiotorni" it looks as.... Finally I had scent from body odour admitting that this passage was wrongly translated. I mentioned this to the person in question. All he said was "so what?"
In a moment like this one is easily rendered speechless - so was I.

It seems very obvious that one person can not have unlimited number of Friends (with majuscule F). So it is a total fallacy to universally describe bible-pushers of any sort as friends if the congregation consist of more than two.
But the catch word for me was your nanosecond - as short it may be the society still have hope to speed the process up. There is still pico-, femto- and attosecond to be utilised.
