  Did you know JW's who worked in SALES?

  the brothers and sisters that i knew that worked in sales did great in the congregation.

  their presentations, their talks, their knowledge of all the publications, they were really on top of things.

  those that worked in other fields sometimes really struggled at placing literature and in getting studies.. one brother in my hall used to have special sessions with those that wanted to improve their presentation.

  this is going to sound somewhat crazy.

  having faded completely around two years ago i found myself with new found freedom and if was fun.

  i developed new friendships and hobbies and did some stuff that was frowned upon by those in the truth.

  i read your posts, and the posts of others, and posts at other sites - posts that are full of research material of the sort you will have to spend the whole night going thru and trying to remotely get a grip of.. so i wonder - just how difficult do you - or others - feel that christianity, christian faith, "salvation" is meant to be?

  if you consider a namib desert pygme, a bhutan sherpa, a yunnan farmer, an andes mine worker, an amazonian jungle dweller, an indian without caste, a big city sidewalk dweller - just how hard can it be meant for him / her to grasp the gospel and gain hope of salvation?

  what is demanded by the salt of the earth people?

  John 4:10 is a great example why we should worship Jesus.

  Jesus answered her, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who is saying to you, 'Please give me a drink,' you would have been the one to ask him, and he would have given you living water."

  He's a JW because of his wife? Wow, how many of us fell for that? I remember there was a falling out and talk about his JW wife divorcing him, but I guess they sorted it out.

  What does Romans 10:9,10 mean to a JW?

  romans 10:9,10.

  "...if you confess with your mouth jesus as lord, and believe in your heart that god raised jesus from the dead, you shall be saved; for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.".

  in my ten years as a jw, there was absolutely no emphases to the importance of this scripture.

  Wouldn't those confessing that Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised Him up be of the Anointed? Otherwise, what is the difference between the R&F and the Anointed (besides they have a Heavenly Hope ... they just do. Can't prove it. Don't ask.) Over and over, the spotlight is on the special Anointed who partake in the emblems as Jesus directed THEM ... and to go and make Disciples, but something happens here ... the R&F get to share this special task of preaching with them (as a grand privledge!). It's a joke. Only the Anointed should be going out in service. They are the ones who are to be Kings and Priests with Christ Jesus in Heaven. Afterall, Jesus was speaking directly to THEM. He didn't say, "Oh, and bring those 'other sheep' with you to tag along. Even though I have nothing to do with them ... let them do the work for you."

  the name kinda gives it away.

  i'm a lifer who got a shocker about a year ago by stumbling across the 607 baloney.
